“Don’t tell me you are Usopp? ‘Only kid with common sense in this Blue, I swear’ Usopp?”
“I see you’ve been talking to Buggy,” Usopp laughs. “So you are the young chef he’s always going on about. The man’s been dying to kidnap us to take us to your restaurant for years, now I know why.”

“Buggy the Clown?” Kaya’s eyes go wide. “But he’s also a pirate! What if he hurts us?”
There’s a twinkle in Usopp's eyes. “This is a secret, eh? Between us?” Kaya nods. “Blue’s Buggy.”
“Mr. Blue is a pirate?” Kaya’s expression would be hilarious if Sanji wasn’t too busy wondering how someone could miss that the man in clown makeup is, in fact, Buggy the Clown.

“Why would you arrest Blue?” Usopp as indignantly.
“Because he’s the pirate Buggy the Clown,” the marine replies, sounding exhausted. “Look.”
He hands them Buggy’s bounty poster and Mr Morning takes it. He holds him besides Buggy’s face and pretends to examine it.
“I don’t see it,” he says.
“They are literally the same!”

Buggy gives him a look but continues. “I’ve only given mine to four people. Shanks, Mohji, Cabaji and Sabo. You’ve got to be sure that the people you give it to won’t betray you and that they will guard it with their lives, understood?”
“You gave it to Sabo and not me?” Ace asks and there’s something of a pout in his voice.
“Of course,” Buggy says. “He’s been traveling the Grandline with questionable company while you were safe in Dawn! I had to make sure he could always find me.” He reaches into his pocket and takes out another piece of paper. “Here’s yours, now that you are leaving. If you ever need my help, you can always come to me, understood?”
Ace’s eyes go wide and he hesitates to reach for the paper. Buggy just holds it there, waiting for Ace to take it until the boy does so, with trembling hands. He carefully pockets it before ripping a piece of his own.
“Right back at you,” he says with a cheeky smile.
