Summary
Kiara Carrera is completely against her parents fostering JJ Maybank for many reasons. The first and biggest one is her stupid crush, which she's totally gotten over since thirteen. Kiara's parents have decided to foster JJ while his dad's in jail, which has made Kiara pretty much go insane. But slowly she starts to get to know JJ for more than his reputation, and their brief history, and maybe her crush is blossoming. Maybe she's starting to fall for him, which is totally against every rule her parents have. JJ introduces her to the pogues, which she thought she'd never be apart of, but they're actually way more accepting of her than she thought possible. Maybe her parents fostering JJ Maybank is the best thing for both of them. Just what they need.
This is set in an alternate universe. JJ, Pope, and John B are very close, but Kie hasn't been introduced to the pogues yet. Sarah is still very much a Kook, her and Kie's relationship is pretty rocky until something changes.
