    Summary

Katsuki had seen pictures of angels in books before. Holy beings with the feathered wings of doves and crowns of pure light nestled in their hair, smiling at lowly humans like they saw something worth cherishing in them.

He saw the corona of light now, the midmorning sun creating a perfect halo. He saw the outstretched arms, feathered fingers tracing the tips of an outline, and he could imagine the way a set of ivory white wings would follow their curve.

He saw the singular eye, boring into his own with an unmatched intensity, and knew that this thing, this twisted, broken, vengeful thing, was no angel.

    Or,

Katsuki and Izuku's karmic tango: a tale of deep-seated resentment, mutually reluctant codependency, and something that could almost be called friendship if it wasn't with that asshole, because seriously, fuck him.
