Chapter Text
Vanessa sighed as she watched Monty plop down next to her onto his fucked-up couch, clearly fuming.
"Look, Monty, if you keep on destroying things like this, then you're gonna end up being decommissioned." That's all she said before just simply getting up and leaving the room, leaving the big gator alone with his thoughts.
He groaned as he ran his claws through his hair. Who the fuck thought it was a good idea to give anger issues to a 7-foot alligator robot? He sighed and put his face into his hands.
"Shiiiiit."
Monty screamed in anguish as he slashed at his arms, tearing through the metal with ease. Oil poured out from the wounds, and Monty just crumpled to the ground. This was better than destroying other stuff, right? He could just destroy himself instead. He deserved it anyway for being so selfish. He always just brought others down with him. Costing everyone time and money.
Fuck. Fuck fuck fuCK FUCK FUCK. God fucking damnit.
The alligator curled up into a ball and started sobbing, aggressively yanking at his hair. He pulled out small clumps of it and threw the red strands, which just came back to him, landing on his face. He pushed the hairs aside and choked out loud and ugly sobs. Tears poured down from his eyes onto the green carpet of his room like waterfalls.
Monty softly chewed on the tip of his tail, trying his best to calm himself down before someone heard him. He made such a big mistake. He destroyed himself and now he's gonna get turned into scrap metal. This is the absolute fucking WORST. God damn it.
Freddy's heart pounded as his hand hovered over the doorknob. Monty hasn't been acting like himself lately, and Freddy was worried. Today the reptile seemed more distant than usual. Hell, Monty didn't muster a single word to any of them at all.
Freddy's ears perked up as he heard a choking noise emerge from the room and immediately went inside. Monty was there, on the ground sobbing. There were slashes embedded deep into his arms, and he was chewing on his tail, whimpering.
Freddy immediately ran over to him, hugging Monty tight. Monty said nothing but melted into Freddy's touch.
"I-I- what happened?!" Monty just huffed in reply, seemingly calming down. "Nunya." Freddy frowned.
"Monty, this isn't okay."
"It's better than destroying shit."
Freddy stayed silent and just shook his head, a solemn expression on his face. Monty sighed. "Sorry. I-I just felt... overwhelmed. I dunno. If I destroy any more things I might get decommissioned and... I don't want that. I-" Monty felt a bubbling up in his throat and broke down once more. Freddy picked him up and put him down on the matted couch.
"Don't worry. Let it out," The grizzly reassured him as he ran his fingers through the gator's hair. Monty let out a soft purr as his tail wagged a bit. After what seemed like 30 minutes or so, Freddy took his friend to parts and services. The issue was quickly fixed, and they were both back at Monty's room again.
"I'm- I'm sorry you had to see me like that-" "No. It's okay."
Monty looked over at Freddy, his eyes were droopy. He let out a yawn before laying down. "Ya can go now." Freddy shook his head. "I'm staying."
"Mmmm... kay. Just don't wake me up."
Freddy watched as his friend started to drift off, tiredly smiling. "You can join ya' know." His ears perked up a little bit as his smile grew a little bit. "Alright."
He slipped under the covers and held the gator softly in his arms, who softly trilled in response. They both fell asleep in each other's company, comfortable.
