“I’m pregnant, not an invalid!” were the first words Jackson heard when he entered the packhouse.
“That wasn’t what I meant, Stiles,” was Derek’s slightly startled response to his hormonal mate’s shouting.
Jackson shook his head in annoyance. Ever since Stiles had gotten pregnant because of whatever weird spark-werewolf full moon magic thing, Derek had been more clingy and more protective than ever before and basically waited on his mate hand and foot. It had only gotten worse as Stiles got deeper into the pregnancy. The Spark had obviously enjoyed it at first, reveling in the attention and not having to do much around the house, but Stiles was also a naturally independent person and he could only take treatment like that for so long. So a lot of yelling and fights between Derek and Stiles had been occurring lately, instinct and learned behaviors clashing like waves against rocks.
They always made up. And it always ended in sex. Much to the pack’s horror who had walked in on them on more than one occasion.
“Mom and dad fighting again,” Jackson said as he plopped down on the couch next to Isaac.
“Yep,” the other wolf made sure to pop the ‘p’.
“What caused it this time?” Jackson asked his boyfriend with a sigh as Stiles’ yelling got louder and Derek’s groveling became more desperate.
“Every time Stiles bends down to get something Derek swoops in and grabs it for him. Stiles broke after the tenth time it happened.”
“Yikes.”
“Everyone else left already but the only car left is Derek and Stiles’ and you know how they get about that thing,” Isaac told him. “So want to take me somewhere that isn’t here? Maybe go on a date?”
“Sure,” Jackson agreed. Then they heard a moan.
“Dear lord, that’s our kitchen,” Isaac muttered.
“Yeah, and if we don’t want to see it be defiled we should get out of here,” Jackson said as he dragged his boyfriend out off of the couch and to the front door.
“Don’t break anything!” was what Isaac yelled as he and Jackson left the home.
