Work Text:
She liked living so close to the sea, the sound of the waves reminded her of the stories Mother told of her childhood at the Rock.
The seascape brought the disgraced queen little joy now. In truth, Myrcella seemed the only one among them to find joy in anything at all.
Mother was ever looking over her shoulder for signs of King's Men or assassins, and Joff barely spoke at all, especially to Mother, as he blamed her for the loss of his birthright. Tommen's tears hadn't ceased since they set sail.
Still, Myrcella liked Lys. It was safer here.
