Stella’s love affair with all things animated starts young, Farah smiling even as she moves to join Luna and their daughter, watching the little girl’s smile spread even as they watch the fairies on screen. Stella always likes fairy tales, stuff with girls with wings and magic. She has yet to know she is, herself, a fae.
Luna’s asleep by the time the movie ends and Stella lets ‘Mommy Fa’ put her to bed, giggling when Farah makes the room shine, then tucks the girl in, wishing her a good night’s sleep before moving back to find her wife and carry her back to bed.
