Lena never felt more confident than when she was flirting. She especially loved flirting with Kara. Kara was so innocent that flirting with her and seeing her realise she was flirting with her and then watching her cheeks turn red was beautiful.
Kara came into her office dressed in her best journalist outfit, here to interview her on her latest development at L Corp. Kara was an excellent journalist, and Lena was an exceptional scientist and CEO. the best part was riling up kara when flirting with her.
“Hey sexy journalist,” Lena said confidently, smirk bold on her red lips.
Kara blushed a pretty pink and bit her lips, looking down. She then tucked her blonde hair behind her ears and bit her lip. Lena smirked at the reaction. She loved when she could rile Kara up. Kara was her favourite person, and she could not wait for kara to get that.
Kara sat down at the back of Lena’s desk, and Lena sat in front of it. She smirked up at Kara and winked at her.
“Let’s get started. Yea, It’s a busy day although never too busy for you,” Lena said.
Kara blushed and started her interview with Lena.
“So the readers want to know how notorious will help make the world a better place?” Kara asked.
“The purpose of this is to make people’s lives easier. They will be able to get things done faster, and with less effort, it is meant to fit into each person’s life, just like you fit perfectly into mine,” Lena said with a wink.
Kara blushed as she wrote down her thoughts on what Lena was saying. This interview was going like all other interviews.
“Okay, I think that’s our interview for today,” Kara said, standing up.
“Why don't you stay for lunch. I’d love to do business and pleasure with you,” Lena said with a smirk.
Kara looked at Lena and thought it over. She did love spending time with Lena. Lena was the person she was closest to outside her sister, and she would always be happy to spend time with Lena.
“Yea, it would be my pleasure to have lunch with you,” Kara said.
“So what does our supergirl crave for lunch. I'm thinking lobster. I love eating lobster, but it's not the only thing I like to eat,” Lena said with innuendo.
“Lobster is good,” Kara squeaked out.
“Perfect, I'll order some now. Now please sit down. Can I get you something to drink? Your wish is my demand,” Lena said confidently.
Kara sat down on the couch and looked around the office. It never gets old sitting in Lena’s office. She was her best friend and her closest confidant, and sometimes she thinks that Lena wants more, but she is never sure. So she just thinks about them.
“I’d take a water, Maybe some wine with lunch,” Kara said.
Lena pours them both some water.
“Water is like you. It is necessary for life,” Lena said.
Kara blushed. When Lena said things like that, she thought that she was the most critical person in Lena’s life. Maybe Lena felt the same way.
Lena hands Kara her water and sits down next to her, drinking her scotch. She was used to it that a small drink would not affect her if things went her way today. Lena has planned over lunch.
“I just wanted to say that I’m so proud of you. With all that you have achieved, you are helping to save the world,” Kara said.
That's the highest compliment. I try to do my best for this world. I learned a lot from you. You are my guiding light. You help me be the best version of myself.
“You help me be the best version of myself. I understand more of the complexities and hope of humanity thanks to you, and you are my human side here,” Kara said.
The two looked into each other’s eyes and were having a moment. Lena thought that Kara had beautiful eyes and wanted to kiss her kissable lips. So Lena started leaning in for a kiss when there was a knock on the door.
“I’ll go get that,” Lena said, groaning internally.
Lena opens the door, and their food has arrived. She will just have to let her plan work over lunch. Hopefully, today’s lunch will be very productive.
“Lunch is here,” Lena said.
“Great, I’m hungry,” Kara said.
“Me too,” Lena said under her breath.
Lena and Kara set the table and sat down to eat. The food did look good. Lena grabbed her courage and took Kara’s hand in her own.
Kara looked at their hands and smiled down at Lena’s hand holding hers.
“I wanted to talk to you about something,” Lena said, looking into Kara’s eyes.
Kara looked up and blushed at how Lena was looking at her. She looked at her as if she was the most precious thing in the world. And with her, Kara did feel like the most precious thing in the world.
“You are my best friend, Kara. Thanks to you, I wake up every morning and know that I can get through it. You are my conscience. When I do a new experiment, I think about what will Kara do, and that helps me make sure that it's always ethical. I want to say that you are perfect. You are beautiful, the strongest person that I know and not just because you are a supergirl. You are the hope of all, and especially me. You are a great reporter, and everything you do turns to gold. I want to say that I love you. I love you, Kara, and you are the best thing that has ever happened to me,” Lena said with tears in her eyes.
Kara looked into Lena’s eyes and saw that she meant everything that she had just said. Kara was so happy and moved closer to Lena and took both of her hands in her own.
“Lena, you are my best friend. Every time I thought you were flirting with me, my heart would skip a beat. I would get excited about how it would make me feel. That someone like you could like me, someone with less experience when it comes to love, I may be the paragon of hope, but you are the one that gives me the hope. I feel hopeful when I’m with you. You are it for me, and I love you. I love you for how smart you are, who you are, and for all, you try to do for everyone. I love you, Lena,” Kara said, standing up with Lena.
Lena leaned in and kissed Kara. The kiss felt like coming home. It was soft yet passionate. It was something that they had both been waiting for for a long time. It felt like they had finally achieved everything that they had always wanted. Lena led Kara to the couch, and they continued kissing there. They kissed and showed each other how much they loved each other.
“I love you, Kara. And you blush so prettily I love making you blush,” Lena said.
Lena kissed Kara’s cheek, where she blushed prettily and then continued down to her neck, where she found a sensitive spot on Kara’s throat. Lena was proud of herself. Her flirting with Kara had paid off now, and they were going to get off.
