Work Text:

“Hey, Tubbo.”

“Huh?”

“Did you know that when you draw a dot on paper, cats will cover it?”

Tubbo turned his head to stare curiously at Tommy, who was sitting on the couch in the huge mansion his husband had commissioned for them just a couple of months prior.

“Really?”

“Yeah! Bit peculiar, innit?” Tubbo nodded his head at his words, but then an idea popped into his head.

“Hey, Tommy… I've got an idea. What if we- “

---

“Hey, Ranboo!” Tommy exclaimed, quickly stumbling towards him, who was standing beside Tommy's house. Ranboo smiled at him, the fluffy ears on the sides of his head jolting upwards as he waved.

Tommy grinned as he approached him, roughly snatching his wrist.

“Ah- what-what are we doing? Tommy? -” Tommy shushed him loudly, running along the prime path that leads to Snowchester.

Ranboo fell silent, his tail tucking itself between his legs.

Once they arrived at Snowchester, Tommy still had that stupid grin on his face as he led Ranboo to the mansion he shared with Tubbo.

Tubbo sat in a swivel chair, slowly turning around as if he was one of those cartoon villains.

“Well well well... Welcome to hell, Ranboo.” Tubbo smirked.

Ranboo’s ears swiveled, keeping low as he raised his eyebrow. “Wha- what do you mean? What's going on, Tubbo?”

Instead of Tubbo responding, Tommy answered for him. “We just want to experiment with you, boob boy.”

The boy's ears abandoned their spot at the side of his head, flattening backward.

“Wh-huh?!”

Tubbo waved his hands quickly and anxiously, “Not like, in a harmful way or anything!”

His ears speedily relaxed at his words, popping back forwards.

“Oh- so uh- what do you mean?”

“Come sit in front of the couch Ranboo, facing the table.”

Ranboo tilted his head, but complied, leaving Tommy’s side to sit in front of their sofa while Tubbo left to grab something.

After a few minutes, Tubbo returned with a piece of cardboard. Ranboo tilted his head to the side again, tail waving back and forth in a confused manner.

“Wh-what is that for?”

“Oh nothing, just this!” Tubbo exclaimed as he slammed the cardboard, which showed a singular dot on the table in front of him.

Ranboo’s ears and tail perked up as he swiftly covered the dot.

Both Tubbo’s and Tommy’s eyes widened in surprise, not expecting their plan to work.

Ranboo quickly realized what he did, flustering as he turned away from the cardboard, also removing his hand.

“I- I’m sorry, I don’t know why I did that-” Tubbo cut the boy off. “Awe! Catboo! Catboy-Boo!”

He stared at Tubbo and Tommy in shock as they both started to tease him, calling him literally and name that was related to cats.

His tail started to twitch as he accidentally let out a quiet growl, making the duo in front of him stop and stare in shock again, before starting to tease him even worse.

Ranboo stood, walking away with his arms crossed and a pout on his face, displeased with his friends.

God, was he sick of them. (Not really.)
