“Maybe I never actually hated you Iwaizumi, have you ever thought about that?” Oikawa asked, still refusing to look up at him.
“What? Of course you do. We’ve been in an ongoing rivalry ever since the companies merged-”
“Well, have you ever thought about the possibility that I’m only acting like that because you do? So that you won’t actually suspect that I have feelings for you?” Iwaizumi still looked confused, but it looked like he knew where this was headed.
“...feelings?”
“God, Iwa, are you really going to make me say it?” Oikawa asked, finally looking up and shaking his head at him–Iwaizumi noticed the tears in the other man’s eyes and couldn’t help but feel bad.
“I like you, you idiot!”
