   Summary

   This story takes place a week after the previous part.
   Geralt has not seen the Griffin for a whole week and Jaskier has started to believe Geralt actually killed the monster. However, Geralt cannot shake the feeling that the beast will find him again or if it doesn't, there will continue to be something urging Geralt to seek the monster out himself. Maybe he needs to embrace having a Griffin as a pet? Or as a... partner? Maybe their bond is already stronger than Geralt likes to admit...
   Of course, poor Jaskier gets dragged into this mess again.
