Chapter Text
“Freddy!” Gregory screamed, his back hitting against the locked door cutting off his escape from this situation.
Out of all the doors, why did this one have to be locked?!
Freddy eerily approached, his servos moving in a stiff mechanical manner which made him seem more robotic then he already was. It was the complete opposite to the warm and lively father figure he grew to love. He seemed soulless, much like his blank eyes as he stared down at the trembling child.
Was… was the same thing that happened to the other animatronics suddenly happening to him now?
Oh, god, no. Not Freddy!
He couldn't imagine having to decommission Freddy like he did to the others, Gregory didn't think he'd could make it without him by his side either.
But decidedly none of that mattered when he was locked in a room with a strangely acting animatronic that would surely kill you if you didn't escape in time.
An ominous sounding giggle drifted from the far side of the room and a person skipped calmly out of the shadows.
Oh-no, not her too!
Vanny stood by the sidelines staring at Gregory who whimpered under her intense gaze, he looked to Freddy for protection and assurance but found neither. He isn't here to save him now, and that thought terrified him. Vanny skipped towards him and pushed up the kid’s chin with a single clothed finger, he squirmed at her touch utterly uncomfortable.
“My,” She stated, “You sure did a number to our plans, didn't you?”
Gregory wasn't completely sure what she meant by our, he just wanted to get away really badly and wanted her to stop touching him.
As if she somehow read his mind she backed off, almost hopping away even, her head tilting to the side as her tone suggested a smug smile behind the mask.
“Oh, don’t worry Gregory, I won’t hurt you,” Somehow he doubted that, “At least it won’t be me that is.”
Vanny went to sit in a chair and propped her feet on an office desk, like she was relaxing at home after a long day at work.
She fiddled with a knife she pulled out of her pocket.
“You know I could’ve just slit your throat and be done with all of this,” She made a cutting motion near her throat for example, “buuuut… Y’know, we simply don’t think that’s enough.”
Vanny stared at him, he could feel a fierce grin emanating off her, like a predator about to kill it’s prey. She pressed a finger under her chin as she looked at the ceiling.
“So, I got to thinking and found a proper punishment for both of you.”
She stared at him again, pausing for dramatic effect.
“I’ll have Freddy do my job for me.”
Gregory gasped, staring at her in horror, tearing up at the thought.
Vanny cackled loudly, startling him as she threw her hands up.
“It’s just perfect. A lowly orphan finally finds his family only to be betrayed by the only one who’s ever loved him,” She giggled rubbing her mask, her next words said in a mocking sneer “I wonder how Freddy will react he finds out he killed his own ‘precious’
Superstar’”
“Freddy…” Gregory stared at the animatronic with pleading eyes, praying for him to snap out of it and help him, praying for him to do something, but Freddy did not say anything.
“Go ahead,” Vanny said, “Go on and beg him to see reason, he won’t listen.”
“Freddy, it’s me, Gregory. Snap out of it, please!” He pleaded in desperation, “She’s going to kill me! PLEASE!!!”
Freddy continued to stare at him, blankly.
“Fre-Freddy…” He croaked, throat tight and tears rolling down his face as his hopes dropped, “Dad…please…”
Freddy, as usual, did not pay him any mind whatsoever.
“Well,” Vanny stands up from her chair and stretches, cocking her head to the side as she asks “That went well, right?”
Gregory only sobbed in response, his hope for rescue from this died much like he will.
“Freddy,” Vanny clapped, the animatronic turned his head in her direction, waiting for a command. She pointed to the kid and then next said something that would be branded into both father and son’s minds forever.
“Disassemble Gregory.”
