When I first met you,
That fateful day when we were kids,
I knew it was over,
That you were the one for me.
Some may think it’s foolish
For someone so dark and gloomy
To fall for someone so bright and sunny,
But I’d have to disagree.
I would say that we are like Night and Day.
We’re exceptional on our own,
But we shine the brightest together.
It’s quite poetic, don’t you think?
To me you’re the sun,
Bright, warm, and powerful.
You’ve always been amazing,
Someday everyone will see that.
When that day comes,
When you’re shining your brightest,
Will you allow me to be beside you,
Shining as your moon?
