“I see…” Ei muttered, more to herself than the Shogun, “and what sort of symptoms have you been experiencing?”
“Increased heart rate, increased body temperature, difficulty focusing, ragged breathing…” the Shogun was quick to nonchalantly list off, as Ei paced around, thinking…
“That is…unusual…” Ei whispered, with one hand rubbing her chin as if she was in deep thought, “could it be that I made some sort of mistake? You should be immune to human diseases and yet…that sounds like a fever, perhaps?”
Ei stepped closer to the Shogun, and pressed a hand to her forehead…but to her surprise, her temperature seemed normal. Yet, before she could even comment on it-
“How…unusual…” Ei heard the Shogun comment under her breath.
“What’s so unusual?” Ei immediately asked her, confused.
“Usually, the symptoms occur when General Kujou Sara is near, or touches me as you’ve touched me just now…” the Shogun explained, “she, too, assumed I had a fever and reacted the same way. However, when your hand touched my forehead like hers did…I felt no symptoms at all.”
