Work Text:
“Oh this brings back memories…”
Catherine’s smirking even as she produces what can only be described as an array of feathers, watching Sara pick through, finally selecting a peacock feather to look at more closely.
“Stripper days?”
Sara asks the question lightly and Catherine grins.
“Maybe… you’ll never know.”
Sara smirks, moving closer, tracing the feather over Catherine’s cheek lightly.
“The color suits you, matches your eyes…”
“Are you calling me a peacock?”
“I’m calling you beautiful.”
Sara speaks softly, moving closer as she adds.
“What made you bring these home anyway?”
“I thought we could help Lindsay with her bird homework, pretend like we got them at the local zoo…”
“Naughty girl.”
Sara teases, grinning all the same.
“It’s a good idea though.”
