Summary
Erwin climbed up on the rooftop of the house Levi, Hange, and himself were renting during their college years. Levi was already up there, staring up at the stars with his head leaned back. Erwin admired him for a moment; he looked so captivated and content. He walked carefully across the shingles of the roof before sitting down next to his best friend.
Levi and he had been close since they were really little; they were best friends since Erwin’s dad had met Levi’s mom when they sent the two boys to Pre-K. Over the years, Erwin had developed quite the crush on his close friend, and he was ashamed of it every time he thought about it. How could I be crushing on my best friend? Erwin thought to himself in shame, not wanting to ruin their friendship.
“Isn’t it beautiful?” Levi asked, staring up at the stars.
“Yeah…” Erwin replied, still staring at Levi, “Beautiful.”
