"Question. Are you leaving on purpose because you heard I was looking for you?" Magnus quirks a brow.
Alec doesn't look at him. Just keeps walking.
“You ignore everyone who’s talking to you?”
Alec doesn’t know how to respond.
“So you did leave because you heard I was looking for you.”
Alec swallowed but kept walking, “Maybe,”
Magnus laughs. "Why?"
"I don't have to answer that."
"Fair enough." Magnus continues to walk next to him but grows tired, sighing. "Look can you stop walking for a second so I can ask you something?"
Alec stopped and turned to him. Better to get this over with. Looking him directly in the eyes, this man was a masterpiece, cursing his gay heart. "Go on," Alec prodded.
Magnus smiled completely throwing Alec off his game. "I've been told you're the best tutor on campus and I'm in dire need of one. Would you help me out?"
