Summary
After almost nine months of dating, Taka and Mondo spend a few weeks with Taka's father, Takaaki, at Taka's childhood home during the summer break. Taka wants to tell his father about his relationship with Mondo, but the tension and pain he feels every time he's around his father makes him fear what the man will think and do when he gets told. All of it makes Taka wonder if his relationship with his father will ever, ever improve, fearing more than anything that it just... won't. He fears even more that it's all his fault, that if he were just better, things would be better too. When everything comes to a head a week into Mondo's stay, Taka has no idea how he will be able to move on. If he ever can.
