Summary
Yoru Kawamoto is called back from exile by the Demon Slayer Corps.
Weilder of cursed foreign blades, she is brought back into the ranks to aid the famous Sound Hashira in his mission to uncover and destroy the Upper Moon demons that have plagued the core of the Entertainment District for decades.
She is (reluctantly) paired with the Water Pillar Giyu Tomioka to dive deeper into the ominous demon universe to finally rid the world of monsters that lurk in the night.
Spoilers alert: it is NOT love at first sight. But it is a slow burn (and burn ardently it will).

She was about to walk away from him when she heard Giyu Tomioka speak.
‘You ought to know you were not my choice of partner.’ he reminded her, his deep voice filling the space between them. ‘Any other female of the Corps would be more amicable to work with. I don’t appreciate people who kill other humans for selfish reasons. And you talk too much.’ he said.
Yoru took offense to that.
‘And here I thought you were a mute, socially maladapted asshole.’ she said, smirking. ‘I guess I was wrong, you’re not mute.’
