Di was worried about entering this new building call “Ramshackle”. It was only the prefect who took care of this dorm along with their other dorm member and a few campuses ghost. Di felt himself shrink in the sheer size of the building. He moved from Octavinelle to Ramshackle as there was no more room left for him and now was taken a room inside this big building. He was always used to small space, even a house with more than one bedroom was too big for him, but now standing right in front of this dorm was terrifying.
He mustered up to courage and walked through the two front doors that was in the center as every other dorm house was. Instead of colorful flowers or decorations that was like the dorm it was just filled with green bushes and grey objects. Di’s pink hair stood out among the grey and white walls.
He walked along the halls as guided by the prefect. He carried his only luggage which was a small black backpack filled with his essentials, things like clothes and hygienic products but also his school items and magic pen.
Then there the prefect and cat member stood.
They looked at Di and Di looked at them. With a long awkward pause, Di saw the grey cat with round bright blue eyes jump from his seat right next to Di as the cat floated around him.
“Are you the new member?” The cat asked as he checked out Di.
“Uh, yes I am! Hello, my name is Di. I don’t have a last name yet, but I was moved here because my dorm didn’t have any room for me?” Di said. Both looked at him.
“Well welcome to the dorm Di!” The cat flew around him before landing right in front of him on a tableside. “My name is Grim, and this is Yuu!”
Grim pointed to Yuu who stood there rather tall and intimidating. His stature was built, and his eyes screamed violent, but Di could tell Yuu was a nice guy. He watched as Yuu grabbed Grim by the collar and placed him back onto the couch.
“Sorry, he is very energetic.” Yuu said as Grim gave his tongue out making Yuu roll his eyes. “My name is Enma Yuuken but people call me Yuu, I am currently the head of this dorm or the Prefect and I’ll show you your room.”
As Yuu said, the three of them walked towards Di’s new room. Yuu explained a few things for this dorm, but Di could tell it was still a work in progress.
“Sorry about your room though, it wasn’t very deep cleaned but if you want to clean it a bit more, cleaning supplies are provided in the closet right in front of you and by the way,” Yuu leaned against Di’s ear. “This room is your room; you aren’t sharing it with anyone.”
Di nodded as he quickly scooted away from Yuu. Yuu laughed at this, and Di was flustered from embarrassment. Di walked right into his room as looked around. It was plain sure, but with enough decorations it would be a perfect room suited for Di.
“Oh and, some people from other dorms are my friends so if you see a lot of people at once come in, don’t worry their friends. And I’ll make sure no one comes in your room until you give permission.”
Di nodded and wave at Yuu before he shut the door and left Di alone in this big room. There was a huge window as well and Di looked outside. His view was gorgeous. Ignore the vines crawling up the side and you get a perfect view of the whole entire school.
He felt excited to be in this dorm now. Even though he was still technically in the Octvinelle dorm he was now in Ramshackle and was even provided the special-colored uniform specifically for this dorm. A grey undercoat. Nothing special but it was very special to Di. Di unpacked the very few items and flung himself onto the soft bed. It smelled nice. Just like lemons.
He felt his eyes droop and soon fell asleep in his new room, in a new dorm.
