Work Text:
The radio's smooth jazz faded out to a slow waltz; planting an idea in Mia's head.
She turned to Lana and extended a hand, "shall we dance, milady?" she asked with a silly, old timey accent to her words.
Lana giggled softly. "You know how?"
Mia offered a goofy smile. "I'll figure it out." She punctuated her sentence with a wink.
"Then dance we shall."
With that, Mia pulled Lana from their chair - but not before tucking a stray piece of hair behind their ear and pressing a kiss to their cheek.
As the song continued on the tinny stereo, Lana allowed Mia to lead them around the room; regardless of her messy footing and and clear lack of know-how.
Eventually, the song faded out but the two kept on dancing and idly chattering until they found themselves breathless.
