It takes her a second to realise that it's Franziska von Karma who's standing in the doorway, refined and perfect as always - and she's looking down at Maya, who's crying on the ground.
The momentary shock is enough to stop the near-constant flow of tears, enough that her vision clears enough for her to properly see her standing there, expression sort of half shocked and half confused.
“...Maya Fey.”
Maya looks up through her hair where she’s knelt on the floor, her eyes still sticky with tears and her face tinged red - and she realises with a hot sort of humiliation that her nose is probably running too. Franziska von Karma, her outfit without so much as a crease and her shoes perfectly polished and her hair neat and shiny has opened the door to Maya, who is at least 60% sure she has a snotty nose.
