Oh, my lovely Discord! You truly made me hurt with this one.
I think one of the things I love about the Sha/Bo fandom is how inclusive it is - nobody out here has really seen the show, so we all are a close knit community of people who are doing it for the art. Make no mistake - you are creating a wonderful piece of art with your worldbuilding. I keep returning to Chaucer-like influences in your language - how poetic and natural your tone is. It’s such a wonderful flow to it - it moves the reader’s eye from paragraph to paragraph without any strain at all, unless, of course, you want it there!
I have a question - is Bo’s locket a reference to episode 2? I just rewatched it recently and it immediately caught my eye!

I’ve never experienced a Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game before, but the way you bring this whole thing to life really makes me want to try it! I think you’re an absolute master at storytelling - the details with Bo’s energy drink choice and the way that Sha’s characterised through the in-game voice chat really make me feel like I’m sitting in on the video game with them. You also provide enough context to let me understand their actions and what all the numbers and acronyms mean. Excellent piece of storytelling, cannot wait until the next one!

Wow! The way you bounce back and forth between the car crash and the wedding - just phenomenal visual storytelling! I felt like I was in the theatre watching along. I also really appreciate the literary references to The Time Traveler’s Wife, and I thought I spotted some Johnny Cash chords written into the negative space? It really made the entire thing feel like an experience.

Oh I love your use of metaphor in this, how the cat inside of Bo is also a reference to Sha’s chained up sexuality, how the two of them can meet with the feline gene if Sha would just let their walls down. It reminds me a little of La Vie En Rose, too - the melancholy of the yowling being nearly musical. My favourite part by far is the descriptions of Bo chopping wood - how did you make such a small act feel so domineering and potent? Anyways, you’re an incredible writer and I look forward to the next chapter!

What a story. I have no words. You've truly broken me apart with this. I keep trying to think of things to say but all that keeps repeating on a loop is the lyrics to What May Have Occurred.
I think you've done an excellent job of building out the City of Crossover. It's such an unexplored area - the politics of it - and your ability to slip into those areas and build a foothold on which to talk about politics in this fictional environment is truly a marvel - I am absolutely obsessed. I'll be rereading this in the future when I need a good cry.

Another amazing political thriller chapter! My favourite thing so far about this verison of Sha and Bo is that both of them are incredibly competent - it reminds me of the show in a lot of ways, how we got to see both of them display their strength and compassion. There are some action writers who sacrifice one or the other’s leads in order for some cheap drama, but none of that here! What an amazing story! Can’t wait for your next work, if you choose to write one!

I think this is an excellent canon divergence! I’m especially enamoured with your deep understanding of the Enforcement Agency, and how it can be defunded. It’s also clear you have quite a lot of experience with activism - I love how authors take their specific viewpoints on life and apply them to our little world of fanfic.
