“I- Im- im- fine,” Vi spat out, trying to cover up her tears. She was breathing heavily, trying to calm herself down.
“No, you’re not, you’re crying. I can hear you,” Caitlyn pressed on. “Can I come in?”
“I-” Vi had no fucking idea what to do. “S-sure, I guess.”
Caitlyn walked in and their eyes met. Cold blue met cloudy grey.
Caitlyn was a famous influencer and VI was a famous Streamer. They were roomates who never really talked to each other. Caitlyn thought Vi hadn't known who she was, until Vi had a ptsd episode and Caitlyn helps comforts her after it. Aside from knowing each other through their online presences, Caitlyn and Vi met years ago at a hospital. The day after the ptsd episode, Vi gifts Caitlyn a box of cupcakes with the note "Thanks, Cupcake <3". Making Caitlyn realize Vi has known who she was this whole time. As they grown closer they start to dig up unwanted feeling that they both thought they left behind years ago.
But maybe the feelings aren't as unwanted as they think they are.....

“So we’re back to this?” Vi breathed out as Caitlyn situated herself between her legs.
“Depends what you mean by this.” She readjusted so that their hips were flush together, Vi leaning back on her elbows with one leg propped up.
“Being a cold bitch.”
Caitlyn’s expression faltered for a moment but as she moved further into Vi’s space her eyes drifted to the pink flush appearing. She scoffed. “You seem warm enough to me, darling.”
The camera began clicking in front of them, both of them focusing on posing.
“Vi, I’ll get you to place the hand closest to the camera on Caitlyn’s butt. Caitlyn, is that okay?”
“Yep, fine.” Her pulse was quickening.
“Butt.” Vi snorted.
Caitlyn rolled her eyes but Vi could see her smile a little. “Just do it.”
“So needy.”

Caitlyn is a Victoria's Secret Angel and Vi is a model for Calvin Klein. They get assigned to a collaborative campaign between the two companies and tensions run high when they are not what they seem to the other.

Summary
Vi looks at the big clock on the far wall. 7:46AM. She’s one minute late today. Every morning for the past six months - well, every morning Vi’s been on shift, so she’s just assuming about the other days - she’s passed by at exactly 7:45AM, always at a brisk walk, always in a perfectly-tailored suit, not a single long, silky-looking hair out of place.
7:47AM. The crisp clack of heeled boots on concrete pulls Vi out of her musings. There must have been some sort of emergency, because the subject of Vi’s (minor) obsession walks past the fire station at a faster clip than normal. Which is sort of saying something, because Mystery Woman’s got legs for days, long and slender, visibly toned with long, lean muscle through her suit pants. At the faster clip, Vi has less time to admire her ass and tiny, tiny waist as she walks by, but that’s fine, because the view as she leaves is fantastic.

Caitlyn's route to work as a detective at the 51st Precinct takes her right by Fire Station #516, and Vi's been pining after the gorgeous Mystery Woman for six months...what will happen when she finds out that Caitlyn's a cop (AKA: The Enemy)?

“You’ve probably never had to thank anyone for anything in your life,” Vi whispered, the words breaking from her lips like a curse.
“Come on, just say it, cupcake.” She relented, her mouth curving into a taunting smirk. She could feel Cait’s frantic breath on her lips. She watched- enamored- as her cheeks reddened, the blacks in her eyes blown out like dark planets. Vi resisted the urge to brush her nose against Caitlyn’s, just to know how it felt.
She moved a millimeter closer, whispering lowly- “Thank you, Vi, ” Caitlyn took one rapid intake of breath, a soft, gasping sound slipping from her lips before her hand met Vi’s chest for the second time that day, pushing her away.
She stomped back over to the steps, grabbing up her poms and her backpack in a tight, angry fist. At the top of the stairs, she looked over her shoulder, eyes burning with something like hate, maybe something like lust.
“Cupcake?” She spat out icily.
“You know, cuz you’re so sweet .”
