Chapter Text
It was a dark and gloomy night. The rain was hitting hard, and the thunder and lightning could be heard From all around. It was dangerous to be out at this kind of time and night. But one young man was out in this kind of weather.
Hanagaki Takemichi was wet from the rain and was panting a lot. He was cold since his clothes were soaked. The young man did not know what to do or even survive this weather.
That is when he saw something clearly, at last not too far from where he was.
“Is that a house?” He did not know for sure, but Takemichi decided to head in the direction where he saw something.
Takemichi was happy when he approached a huge house. The young man slowly walked up to the door and knocked, but there was no answer. He then turned the knob handle, and to his surprise, the door opened.
“Hello.” He spoke out, hoping that somebody would hear him. “Is anybody here? Still, there was nobody to answer him. He thought maybe that the place was abandoned.
Takemichi took the sight of his surroundings. The place was as spacious inside as it was from the outside. The lights inside the house were on so he could see, and for that, he was glad.
“I need to find some dry clothes.” He spoke.
Takemichi wandered around the house and found many rooms in the place.
“It’s a big house, and nobody lives here. Are people not interested in selling this place?”
Takemichi finally found a room. It was the biggest in the whole house. The moment that Takemichi walked in, he saw his reflection. There was a mirror all around the room.
The young man dropped his backpack that he had been holding onto. He then checked the drawers for some clothes. A smile appeared on his face when Takemichi saw there were dry clothes. He saw some towels as well. There was a bathroom connected to the room, so he thought it was better to shower first.
He went inside the washroom, took his wet clothes off, and dipped into the shower. He felt good when warm water fell on his body.
After he was done with his shower, he dried his hair and wore the clothes he found. They were a little bit, but it was better than not wearing anything. He wore a long white sleeve shirt and some black pants.
Once he was out of the washroom, he felt tired. He wanted to let his friends know he was all right, but his phone was not working. Takemichi took out his phone.
Takemichi thought if this place was abandoned, why was the water still working fine. Takemichi then laid on the bed that was in the room. He was exhausted that the young man’s eyes blue eyes closed shut, and moments after, he had fallen asleep.
A shadow appeared over the sleeping figure. The person stared at Takemichi with a curious look on his face.
A black rabbit hopped onto the bed and snuggled into Takemichi’s arm as he slept.
“Do you like him?” The shadow asked the rabbit.
The figure was curious about something. This person did not smell like a human or even his kind.
“Mikey, what’s going on?” Suddenly more shadows appeared.
They all stared at the sleeping figure.
“This is surprised.” Ran glee with a smirk on his face.
“It’s not every day we get a visitor.” Rindou had a similar smile on his face, like his older brother.
“What should we do with him?” Koko asked.
“I can always get him to leave,” Kakucho suggested.
“I will do whatever the king wants,” Sanzu said, turning to Mikey for him to say something.
“Leave him be. Rio likes him, and I have a feeling our powers won’t work on him.”

The following morning Takemichi woke up and found something on him. The blue-eyed young man was surprised by the animal on his lap.
“Where did you come from?” He patted the rabbit on his head. Takemichi found the little guy cute. “I’m sure if Hina saw you that she would love you.”
That reminded Takemichi that he had to contact his friends. He checked his phone, and like before, and it was dead.
“I need to charge it, but I don’t have a charger on me.” Takemichi did not know what to do.
The rabbit snuggled to Takemichi as if wanting attention.
“What’s your name? “You are so cute.” Takemichi hugged the little guy, forgetting about charging his phone.”
“His name is Rio.”
Takemichi turned his head to the door and saw a person standing there. A man with long dark hair up to his shoulder with pitch-black eyes.
Takemichi was starstruck by how handsome this person was, but then he saw those fangs.
“You’re a vampire.”
Mikey was surprised when the stranger said that to his face. Mikey was curious that the young man on the bed did not seem scared at all.
Mikey walked to the bed and saw beside the stranger.
“What’s your name?” He asked.
“Hanagaki Takemichi.”
“Takemitchy.”
“That’s not what I said.”
“Well, you are Takemitchy to me.” Mikey laughed.
Mikey wondered why Rio seemed attached to Takemichi.
“Why are you not afraid of me being a vampire?” Mikey asked. “Is it the reason why you don’t smell like a human or vampire?”
“Oh, you can smell the difference.”
“I’m not a human or vampire. I’m something in between.” Takemichi explained.
“You’re a dhampir.”
Mikey had heard dhampirs before but never met one. He knows there are a few in the world.
“What are you doing here?” He asked.
“Last night, it was raining hard, and I had nowhere to go, and that’s when I found this house.”
“I know it was raining hard, but I want to know is why were you out.”
“I-I was being chased.”
“Hunters?”
“No, vampires from my clan.”
“Why?”
“I don’t know.”
Mikey heard enough and decided to let the dhampir stay with him.
“You can stay here, but I’m not the only one living here. Other vampires are living here with me.”
‘Why?”
“Because I find you interesting,” Mikey said before leaving the room.
When Mikey left the room and went to the living room, he saw the others.
“So, you are letting him stay here?” Koko asked.
“If you all heard, then why do you even bother asking.”
Vampires have good hearing senses that they can hear from miles away.
“A dhampir,” Rindou mumbled. “I thought they didn’t exist.”
“Rindou, they exist. They don’t come out often as we do.” Ran explained.
“Dhampirs are always hiding since they are weak compared to a full-fledged vampire,” Kakucho said.
Rindou got up from his seat.
“Where are you going?’ Sanzu asked.
“I’m going say hello to our new visitor.” Rindou walked out of the living room.
Rindou was getting excited to see the dhampir and speak to him in person.
Before entering the room, he saw the young man’s reflection in the mirror. The dhampir was playing with Rio, and that’s when Rindou saw those blue eyes. They were so pretty. Rindou found that he had a cute face too.
Takemichi was walking back and forth when he did not notice that his foot tripped on something on the floor and was about to fall, but a hand caught him.
“Are you okay, Takemichi?” Rindou was the one who caught him.
“Thank you, but who are you?” Takemichi asked.
“I’m Rindou and one of the vampires living here that Mikey mentioned to you.”
“Oh, thank you again.”
“Ne, Takemichi, let’s go have fun.”
“What do you mean by fun?” He asked.
Before Takemichi could say anything, Rindou lifted the young man in his arms. It surprised Takemichi with the sudden lift.
“I’m heavy.”
“Your light as a feather. I wonder if you don’t eat enough.”
Rindou took the dhampir to the backyard. The rain had stopped, and it was now all sunny outsides.
The courtyard was filled with flowers, and it amazed Takemichi. Rindou put flowers in Takemichi’s hair, making him look like a princess or prince.
It is funny when they have just met. Takemichi was small and had a fantastic scent. His hands were soft, and those blue eyes were the one thing that made Rindou crazy. Rindou had never seen anybody this beautiful before, making him a little crazy.
Rindou looked at Takemichi’s soft neck. He wanted to take a bite, but he resisted because he did not want to do this since they met and didn’t want to scare Takemichi.
“Are you okay?” Takemichi asked.
“Yes. It’s nothing.”
They spend some time in the garden.
After Rindou took Takemichi back to the room, he was staying at. Rindou thought the room that Takemichi found was perfect from the moment they walked in, and you can see Takemichi’s beautiful appearance.
“Rio is not here,” Takemichi said.
“He probably went to Mikey.”
Rindou looked at the time and saw he had some work to do outside. He did not want to leave and spend more time with Takemichi.
“Takemichi.”
“Yes,” Takemichi answered.
“If you ever go outside, you have to be careful. There are dangerous people.” Rindou is referring to the people who could fall for Takemichi’s beauty.
“I will be careful if I ever go outside,” Takemichi said.
