In conclusion, Quackity was in deep shit. How could he be happy for his best friend when Wilbur also happend to be the love of his life

Chapter Text

Wilbur sighed, lifting a teacup to his lips with his pale, cold hands. The prince had six months until he was seventeen. That was not the best news, seeing as when he turned seventeen he would he forced to search for a suiter. Of course it was nice to know that his parents were accepting and wouldn't make him marry a woman but it was still horrible nonetheless.

Wilbur wanted real love, the kind in fairytales. He couldn't get that if he was forced to quickly find a suiter, and then marry said suiter.

He knew who he loved, he loved his best friend, Quackity. They had been friends since they were children, Wilbur felt safe and content with the shorter, but stronger male. But his parents would never agree to such a thing, for in their eyes Quackity was a peasant and 'not good enough' for their beloved son.

But Wilbur knew Quackity was so much more than just a simple peasant. Quackity was hardworking, strong, funny, handsome and most importantly kind. Quackity made Wilbur feel safe, even if the two playfully bickered at times, even if Quackity threatened him. Wilbur knew Quackity never meant it, Wilbur knew that he would always be safe in the ravenette's home.

Quackity paced around his cold, small, messy room. "Okay, Will's turning seventeen in six months. He's gonna get married off a few months after that, and you're gonna be happy for him!" Quackity mumbled, giving himself a little pep-talk.

The ravenette loved Wilbur, of course he loved Wilbur! How could he not? Wilbur was kind, charasmatic, pretty, had little habits that Quackity found adorable. Hell, Wilbur even playfully flirted at times, or more like all the time.

In conclusion, Quackity was in deep shit. How could he be happy for his best friend when Wilbur also happend to be the love of his life?

With a sigh Quackity shook his head and quickly threw on an old, worn out jacket. Maybe seeing Wilbur would help him clear his mind, even if Wilbur was the cause of this dilema Quackity knew that the brunette would still be able to help.

So, with that he was off, going to sneak into the castle's garden for what seemed like the millionth time in his entire life.

Wilbur's room was by the garden, including a window that overlooked the beautiful place. So, when he heard the familer sound of pebbles being gently thrown against his window a smile found its way onto his face.

He stood up wearing a fairly comfortable, - though he would never admit it - white, satin nightgown. Per his mother's request as she insisted he'd look great in it.

The tall brunette made his way over to the window, opening it and looking down at his blushing friend, luckily it was too dark for Wilbur to see the blush.

"Wilbaaaa!!" Quackity whisper cheered

"Quackityyy!!" Wilbur whispered cheered back, giggling a bit as his friend started to climb the vines to get up into his room. It always amazed Wilbur when Quackity did that.

Once Quackity made it into his room Wilbur swiftly made his way to the little candles around his room, lighting them to make a pretty glow.

He gave a content hum and finally turned to face his friend. "Need something? Oh- shit were we supposed to hangout? Sorry ducky, I've been busy as of late." Wilbur sighed, sitting down at the foot of his bed.

Quackity was honestly a bit spaced out. Seeing his best friend, the boy he loved in a pretty little nightgown was making his brain simply spin, as well as making his face heat up to the color of a fucking tomato. He cleared his throat and sat by the other. "No, no, its fine. I just wanted to see you."

"Awwww, you wanted to come see me!? I knew you were in love with me!-" The brunette started only to feel a hand get slapped gently over his mouth.

"Shut up Soot, do you want to get caught?" Quackity scolded through gritted teeth, only trying to appear threatening so his prince would listen.

"You're making it sound like we're fucking, ducky." Wilbur pointed out, though his words were muffled from the hand over his mouth. "It's fine though, I wouldnt mind fucking you or getting fucked by you, whichever you prefer."

Quackity's face lit up a bright red again but he tried to ignore it, "Wilbur I swear to god I will have your head hanging from my wall, with your pretty little face all beat up if you dont stop!-" he threatened, of course he didnt mean it though.

"Aww, you think my face is pretty? Thank you ducky, I try." Wilbur teased, holding back giggles as Quackity groaned and removed his hand from on top of the prince's mouth.

"You're unbearable." The ravenette muttered, wrapping his arms around the taller's rather slim waist and pulling Wilbur to lay down, simply holding his friend.

It was an unspoken rule to never ask questions whenever Quackity did this. Plus, Wilbur was used to it. Usually whenever his friend had a bad day at work or just a bad day in general he would hear the gentle tapping of pebbles against his window and know Quackity was here to cuddle. Though, the shorter was always gone by dawn.

Wilbur laughed and gave a yawn, relaxing in the rather strong, comforting arms that held him close to his friend's chest, these moments were moments that he'd cherish forever, even if he was married off to some dick from another kingdom he would always be able to look back at the times where he was comfortable in Quackity's arms.

"And yet you love me." Wilbur replied, resting his head on his friend's chest and falling asleep soon after, being rather tired after stressing about the whole turning 17 soon thing all day.

"If only you knew just how much I loved you.." Quackity whispered once he knew Wilbur was asleep. He placed a soft, gentle kiss to Wilbur's forehead, making sure not to disturb the other's sleep before simply relaxing, adoring the way Wilbur looked, sleeping beautifully in his arms.
