"You sure about this?" Mitsuya asks, a bit of concern in his voice. She giggles, tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.
"You're asking me now, when you're already here?" she replies, amused. The boy pouts, earning another giggle from her.
"Come on, Mitsuya, you know I can't refuse your little sisters. And I know deep down, you can't either" she says, winking at the end. He feels his cheeks warm up a bit.
"I hate when she points that out," he thinks to himself.
"At least let me-" he is shushed by her index finger on his lips, her face slightly closer to his, making his heart skip a beat. "Takashi, I'm telling you it's fine. Think of it as my little treat for them," she says, tilting her head sidewards, as she slowly lowers her finger from his lips, using it to lightly trace his jawline.
What a tease... If he were being honest, he loved seeing that little smirk whenever she'd tease him.
Mitsuya sighs. "I can't ever win against you now, can I?" he says, now a gentle smile on his face. He lets go of the two small hands in his.
"Runa, Mana, don't give Yuzuha too much trouble, okay?"
"These two never give me any trouble" Yuzuha says, opening her arms- a sign that the two younger girls could come in.
His two younger sisters immediately run to Yuzuha; each of them hugging one of her legs. The sudden action almost makes the older girl lose her balance.
Luckily, Mitsuya catches her; his hand on hers, as her face lands on the crook of his neck.
He swears he heard his two younger sisters chuckle.
"Spoke too soon?" he teases. Yuzuha slowly pulls away from him, her cheeks slightly pink. "You little shit"
"Nii-chan, can you leave now? I wanna play with Yuzuha-neechan" Mana suddenly says, her voice slightly louder than usual.
The two teens share a look before breaking into laughter. Mitsuya lets go of Yuzuha's hand, as she slowly backs away from him.
"I'm unwanted here, now, huh?" Mitsuya says, faking a sad tone with a pout on his lips.
"I'll just call you when we're done, okay?" Yuzuha says, fighting the urge to kiss that fake pout off his lips.
Before he could even respond, Mana suddenly hugs Yuzuha's waist, pulling her inside the house and says "See you later, nii-chan!!" as she waves her older brother goodbye, prompting him to leave.
Mitsuya glances at Yuzuha, who was mouthing him "sorry", before letting out a chuckle, then turning away, leaving them with a quick wave before he walks away.
He always found it adorable how his younger sisters were so attached to Yuzuha and vice versa. He loved how Yuzuha treated them like her own younger sisters; occasionally taking them on a Girls' Day Out, and sometimes she'd even buy them a few toys.
"I wonder what they're up to..." The boy can't help but wonder.
Yuzuha slowly closes the front door once Mitsuya is out of her sight. When she turns back to the two younger girls, she is met with a visibly confused Runa looking at Mana, whose cheeks were puffed, lips in a pout and eyebrows slightly furrowed.
She kinda looks like him with that expression, how cute.
"Onee-chan, you didn't tell nii-chan about what we were gonna do today, did you?" the youngest Mitsuya asks. Yuzuha can't help but be amused. She crouches down to face the young girl, smiling gently at her.
"Of course not, Mana-chan. I promised you I wouldn't, didn't I?" she assures her, winking at her. "Do you two have someone else in mind for the treats?" she asks.
"I wanna make something for Mommy!" Runa excitedly replies, eyes shimmering. "Mommy always works hard for us, so me and Mana thought about surprising her!" Runa continues, almost jumping in place. Yuzuha's heart feels warm seeing how excited the younger. "I'm so excited to help you out, then!" Yuzuha replies, grinning at Runa.
"We wanna make something for Nii-chan too...He always takes care of us...makes us homemade cakes for our birthdays..." Runa says, her voice softer now, as she looks down. Is she...embarrassed? Yuzuha places her hand on Runa's head, the younger flinching at the sudden gesture. "Your brother would be very happy to receive something handmade from you two, I'm sure of it." Yuzuha says, now gently caressing Runa's head. She notices Runa's cheeks slowly turning pink.
A light yelp escapes Yuzuha's lips as she feels (small) arms wrap around her neck. She is met with Mana's face, eyes now full of curiosity. "Onee-chan, will you be making something for Nii-chan too?" the youngest asks, sparkling, curious eyes focused on Yuzuha.
She feels her heart skip a beat and her face warm up at the sudden question, her eyes widen in shock.
If it weren't for the shock, she would have seen the two younger girls sneaking glances at each other.
"Hmm...I haven't really thought about it?" she replies, dryly giggling. "Ah, I'll make something for Hakkai, though"
"What about Taiju-kun?" Mana asks, now in front of her, still clinging to Yuzuha.
"Taiju, huh? I suppose I should..." she thinks,
"I'll make something for him, too." she replies, a gentle smile on her face as she thinks of her family.
"Treats for everyone!" Runa announces, raising her hands in the air.
"Um...Onee-chan..." Mana says, now letting go of Yuzuha, eyes on her feet. The sudden change catches Yuzuha's attention. "Mana-chan?"
"Wh-what kind of chocolate does Taiju-kun like?" Mana asks, her arms now on her back, avoiding Yuzuha's eyes.
How cute...
"Why do you ask, Mana-chan?" Yuzuha asks, amused at how red the younger is now.
"I...I wanna make something for Taiju-kun, too..." Mana replies, looking further down, face now barely seen.
Yuzuha giggles. Who would have thought that Mitsuya's youngest sister is extremely fond of none other than former 10th Generation Black Dragon leader, Shiba Taiju?
"Taiju's very lucky to receive something from such a cute girl! Do you want to know a secret, Mana-chan?" Yuzuha says, Mana now looking back up at her.
"Taiju actually really loves sweets! Can you believe that?" she says, grinning.
Mana's face lights up with curiosity and excitement. "Really?!"
"Onee-chan, what about Hakkai-kun?"
Yuzuha spends a few more minutes telling the two younger girls about what kind of chocolate her brothers like; amused at their reactions.
At the same time, she feels very sentimental, thinking about the last few years making Valentine's Day treats for her two brothers, not even sure if they liked them.
She remembers the time she first made Valentine's Day treats with her mother, as her own little surprise for Taiju and Hakkai—it was the day she found out her older brother's (surprisingly cute) sweet tooth.
She remembers the (only) time Hakkai and Taiju made something with her; it was a mess. She recalls how excited they were to surprise their mother at the hospital.
Valentine's Day was a day Yuzuha never realized she always looked forward to.
"Do you both have aprons to wear? Wouldn't want to get your cute clothes dirty now," she asks, tying her hair up in a messy bun.
As if on cue, the two younger girls pull out aprons from their bags, showing them to Yuzuha with excited grins on their face.
"Nii-chan made these for us!" Mana announces, eyes sparkling.
"Of course, he did" she thinks, a fond smile on her face.
Both aprons are pastel pink; the only difference being the carefully knitted/sewn animal patch on the center pocket and their respective names on the upper right corner. Runa's had a small puppy on the pocket, while Mana's had a bunny.
She could tell that their older brother spent a lot of time on those; he wanted only the best for his little sisters, after all.
"Onee-chan, can you help me tie this?"
"Me too, me too!"
She snaps back to reality when she hears the two younger girls call out to her, as they excitedly put on their little aprons. She ties the middle part of their aprons into a neat bow, being careful not to make them uncomfortable. "I should take a few pics for Mitsuya..." she thinks to herself, smiling fondly at the two sisters.
"Ah, wait just a sec." she says, pulling out a few hair clips from her pocket, as she secures the youngers' fringe on the side of their faces. "There. So you two can see better!" she says, now taking her phone out and snapping a quick picture of them.
"I already bought everything we need. What do you two plan on making?" Yuzuha asks, putting her phone back in her pocket. "Cupcakes!!" Runa announces. "With frosting!" Mana says, as if on cue. Yuzuha can't help but smile at the two excited young girls' enthusiasm.
"Good choice!" Yuzuha replies, leading them into the kitchen.
The girls spend the entire afternoon baking. Runa and Mana were very excited and mentioned it was their first time making something for Valentine's day. Yuzuha merely helped them, as the two wanted to do most of the work. She was nothing but patient towards them, finding it extremely adorable how careful they were; immediately cleaning up even the slightest spill of the batter.
"Takashi did a good job raising these two."
The younger Mitsuyas ended up making a small cake for their mother, then cupcakes for the rest. "We originally planned this for Mommy, after all!" They say, a bit of flour scattered on their faces.
The group finished their treats a bit earlier than they had expected, now waiting for them to finish in the oven.
Yuzuha sits down on the chair Mana had been using to reach the counter, as the two younger girls are a few steps away from the oven, excited to see their treats.
"I have to show him." she thinks, grabbing her phone as she quickly snaps another picture of the two.
Yuzuha approaches the two, whose eyes were practically shining while patiently waiting for their treats to finish cooking, crouching down once more. "It's still gonna take a while, but, do you two want to write some notes while we wait?" she asks, successfully grabbing their attention.
Their faces light up at her little suggestion, "We do, we do!" they chant, excitedly standing up. "Okay!" Yuzuha says, now standing up as well.
"Wait for me at the dinner table, I'll go grab some stuff we can use."
Yuzuha comes back with a few supplies and places them on the table. The two younger girls excitedly start grabbing a few sheets of paper and colored pens, immediately writing. "Should we make one for Nii-chan, too?" Mana asks, tugging on her older sister's sleeve. "I think you should! I'm sure he'd love to get a handwritten note from you two." Yuzuha says, leaning her face on her hand.
"Onee-chan should write something for Nii-chan too!" Runa replies almost immediately, catching Yuzuha off guard. She feels her heart skip a beat as her eyes widen at the younger's statement.
Still in shock, Yuzuha did not notice how the two younger girls snicker at her reaction.
Do they-
"Here, Onee-chan!" she feels a tug at the hem of her shirt, seeing the two girls hand her some paper and a pink pen, huge smiles on their faces.
"You should write something for Nii-chan too!"
Really can't win against these two, huh?
"It smells so good!!" Mana exclaims, mouth almost watering. "I wish we could eat some...but we only made enough for everyone." Runa says, eyes on the treats.
Yuzuha giggles, "We can! I made an extra batch, just in case you two might get hungry!" she says, standing behind them, her hands on their heads.
The two turn to look at Yuzuha, eyes sparkling, huge grins on their faces. "Thank you, Yuzuha-oneechan!" the two say, immediately hugging the teen, making her crouch down, as she hugs them back.
"We love you, Onee-chan!" they exclaim, clinging onto Yuzuha's arms now.
"Let's take a picture!" Yuzuha says, grabbing her phone from her pocket. She stretches her arm, positioning the camera to capture all three of them. "One, two, say chee-" she was unable to continue, caught off guard by two kisses on both sides of her face, perfectly captured on her phone.

Mitsuya couldn't help but smile at the sight of his two younger sisters giving Yuzuha a kiss. "Bet she didn't expect that" he thinks, as he saves the picture on his phone.
"New wallpaper for me, then"
The young girls settled on making a small cake for their mother, then cupcakes for the boys. "I can't wait to give this to Mommy!" Runa exclaims, looking very proud of the treat in front of her. "Nee-chan, we should decorate it!" Mana says, tiptoeing to get a better view of the cake. Runa puts a hand on her chin, lips in a pout. "Hmm...I haven't decorated a cake before...I'm scared we might mess up..." she says, looking deep in thought.
"I can help you two with that! I prepared some extra frosting and cream, just in case!" Yuzuha says, smiling at the two.
The two decide to take turns decorating the small, round cake; Mana being the one to coat it with light pink, butter cream frosting, then Runa (with Yuzuha guiding her hand) being the one to leave tiny hearts with a piping bag filled with red icing.
After that, they carefully put the cake inside a cute box and worked on the other treats for the boys.
The kitchen was now filled with a sweet atmosphere—a mix of chocolate and butter cream, accompanied by the three girls' joy and laughter, as they finish up with making treats for their loved ones. Each treat was decorated differently, no two were alike; Yuzuha asks if it was to easily differentiate them from each other, but to her surprise, the youngest Mitsuya says, "So everyone can see our love for them!"
Yuzuha can't help but see herself in the two young girls, recalling to when her mother first taught her how to bake. She could see herself in their enthusiasm and eagerness to make something for their loved ones; it warms her heart.
While cleaning up, Yuzuha sees two cupcakes on a plate; one had colorful sprinkles on top, while the other had lilac frosting. "Who are these for? Did we forget to pack them?" she asks. The two girls each take the cupcakes, Mana holding the one with sprinkles, and Runa holding the lilac one, as they walk towards Yuzuha.
"It's a bit early, but, Happy Valentine's Day, Onee-chan!"
"It's not much, but this is for you. Thank you for helping us, Onee-chan!"
The young girls say, giving Yuzuha the treats.
Yuzuha's eyes widen, not noticing tiny beads of tears trailing down her face. "Onee-chan?!" the two girls say in unison, as Yuzuha comes back to her senses. "Oh...oh gosh, was I crying? Sorry." she says, wiping away the tears before crouching down at the two younger girls, who now had a worried look on their faces.
"I'm very happy with your little treats! So happy that I didn't even notice my own tears of joy!" she giggles, accepting the cupcakes from the two. "Thank you so much, you two! I had lots of fun today!" she says, a huge grin forming on her lips.
"Let's go eat these together, yeah?"
The girls settle in the living room, facing each other while sitting on the floor, the treats on the low table. "Onee-chan's cupcakes!!" the younger girls exclaim, mouths practically watering. They each take one cupcake, slowly peeling off the paper cup and take a bite. Their faces light up as soon as they taste the treat. "Soooo good~!" the sight of the two enjoying her treats makes Yuzuha smile. "I'm glad you two like it!" she says, as she takes the lilac frosted cupcake.
The rest of the afternoon was spent finishing the remaining treats, the two younger girls asking more about Yuzuha and her brothers. Yuzuha shares stories about the better parts of her childhood; about their mother. Runa and Mana, in return, talk about their mother, sometimes about Takashi; about how they sometimes worry about him coming home late, about how he never forgot any of their birthdays, about how he always got them gifts, no matter what.
"Family, huh..." Yuzuha thinks, as the two young girls sit closer to her.
Eventually, the two girls end up falling asleep on Yuzuha's lap. She smiles gently at them before playing with strands of their hair. "Good work, you two." she says softly.
Just as she was about to grab her phone, she hears it ringing.
[Incoming Call: Mitsuya Takashi]
"Takashi? I was just about to call you." she answers. "Ah, Yuzuha. I just bumped into Hakkai. He said he was heading home so I'm coming with him." Mitsuya says from the other line. "Alright. Your sisters fell asleep, by the way. I'll wake them up in a bit." Yuzuha says, playing with a stray strand of hair near her face. "Got it. They didn't give you any trouble, did they?" he asks, a bit of concern in his voice. She couldn't help but giggle. "Of course not. Trust them a little, would you?" she teases. She hears him sigh from the other end. Before either of them could say something, they both hear Hakkai whine "Taka-chaaaaan, let's go homeeee.", making Yuzuha giggle once more.
"I'll see you in a bit, Takashi."
"I'm home~" Hakkai announces as he enters the house. "Hakkai-kun!" Runa exclaims, running to the entrance, Mana trailing behind her. "Runa-chan, Mana-chan!" Hakkai's face lights up seeing the two. "Welcome home, Hakkai." Yuzuha says, walking towards the entrance. "Taka-chan's here too!" Hakkai says excitedly.
"Taka- ah. Mitsuya! Do you have club activities tomorrow?" Yuzuha asks, taking her hair tie off, letting her long hair fall, bouncing off her shoulders before reaching her back. "Nah, I finished everything earlier, why?" he responds. "Great! Come back here tomorrow with Runa-chan and Mana-chan, alright? Let's have lunch." Yuzuha says, placing her arms behind her.
"Oh, that sounds good! Should I help you with cooking?" he asks. "Nope, no need! Just call me when you're on your way."
"What's the occassion?" he can't help but wonder.
"You'll find out tomorrow. Here," she hands him a paper bag. "Be careful with it and give it to Runa-chan once you reach home." she instructs. "What's in-" Mitsuya attempts to peek, only for his hand to be swatted away by Yuzuha. "No peeking! Just do as I say, got it?" she says, winking, one hand on his.
"Fine. You really have a way to get what you want, huh?"
"See you tomorrow, Onee-chan, Hakkai-kun!" The two exclaim before taking their older brother's hands and walking home.
"I wonder what's in this bag..." Mitsuya thinks.

The teenage boy wakes up to their household unusually louder than usual. He steps in the kitchen, surprised to see his mother, a bit teary eyed, with his two sisters beside her. "Takashi, look at this!" His mother says, pointing at a small, pink, cake on the table. "Runa and Mana made this for me!" she says, now hugging the two younger girls. His eyes widen. "That looks amazing! But when did-oh, don't tell me-"
"Yup, yesterday with Yuzuha-neechan!" Runa says proudly. Takashi scratches the back of his head, smiling fondly.
"So," their mother breaks the tender moment. "When are you and Yuzuha-chan gonna get married, Takashi?" she asks, making his younger sister's stare at him, eyes shimmering.
"Mom, come on! We're still in high school!" Takashi almost chokes, his face now burning.
"Oh? So you HAVE thought about marrying her~" their mother says, hiding a shit-eating grin behind her hand, Runa and Mana giggling and doing the same.
Takashi sighs. "Ah, by the way, Mom, we're gonna have lunch later at the Shibas'. Yuzuha says she's cooking." Takashi says.
"I'll be home a bit earlier tonight, so we can eat this cake together by then! Be sure you marry Yuzuha-chan when you come back home, okay, Takashi?" she teases.
"Taka-ah, Mitsuya! I just finished cooking, you're on your way?" she says, taking her apron off. "Yeah, we're on our way now. Do you need me to get anything on the way there?" he asks. "Hmm...maybe some drinks? Juice would be fine. Let Runa-chan and Mana-chan pick"
The two young girls knock on the door once they reach the Shiba residence, welcomed by Hakkai. "Ah, you're here! Come in!" he says excitedly. "Thanks for having us, Hakkai." Mitsuya says, entering the house.
"Glad you made it safely!" Yuzuha says from behind the counter. "Onee-chan!" the two younger girls exclaim, running towards her. "Ah! Runa! Mana! Don't suddenly run like that!" Takashi says loudly. His two sisters were now clinging to Yuzuha, a sight Takashi loved seeing.
"Those two really love Yuzuha, don't they?" Hakkai says, now behind Takashi.
"Woah, did you cook all of these, Yuzuha?" Takashi says, eyes widening at the selection of dishes set on the dining table.
"I helped a bit." A deeper voice says, making the Mitsuya siblings turn their heads to the direction of the voice.
"I told him I'd do everything, but he just insisted, ya know?" Yuzuha sighs.
"Woah, Taiju's here too?" Mitsuya says, pleasantly surprised at the eldest Shiba sibling.
"He couldn't say no after Yuzuha personally called him last night. He's staying for a few days too, I think." Hakkai whispers to his former captain's ear, as Taiju walks over to Yuzuha.
"I finished cleaning up, Taiju, don't worry about it." Yuzuha tells her older brother. Before he could say anything, she tells him "Yes, Taiju, I'm sure. Now, take these two and go to the table. I'm gonna go to the bathroom and freshen up a bit." before letting go of the two younger girls' hands.
"Taiju-kun!" Mana calls out, making Taiju turn to the younger. He couldn't believe how the youngest Mitsuya was extremely attached to him. "I-um…" Mana says, holding on to Runa's shirt. Taiju tilts his head, before crouching down to meet face to face with the youngest Mitsuya. "Mana says she's so happy you're here!" Runa says excitedly, as her younger sister hides behind her, eyes avoiding Taiju.
The eldest Shiba feels his face warm up a bit. "Yuzuha asked me to be here, so…"
"Does Taiju-kun love Yuzuha-neechan?" Runa asks, eyes full of curiousity.
Taiju lets out a chuckle and places his big hand on the younger's head. "Of course, she's my little sister, after all." he replies.
The younger girls faces light up.
"We love Onee-chan too!"
The group spends the rest of the day eating the feast Yuzuha (with the help of Taiju) prepares. Takashi's big brother instincts can't help but dote on not only his younger sisters, but with Hakkai too, who was somehow a messier eater than the two younger girls, much to Taiju and Yuzuha's amusement.
Once they were finished with their meals, the group move to the living room. The girls glance at each other, before following Yuzuha back to the kitchen. They come back with several treats in their hands. "Happy Valentine's Day!" they say at the same time, receiving shocked expression from the boys.
"We made these yesterday!"
"Treats for everyone!
"Here, Hakkai-kun" Runa hands her treat to Hakkai. "Thank you, Runa-chan!" Hakkai says, taking the treat before pulling her into an embrace. The two always had a close relationship, ever since Hakkai and Takashi met. Runa was wary around him at first, since her older brother had told her to be careful around strangers, but that changed after Hakkai spent more time at their place.
"Here's one from me, Hakkai." Yuzuha says, handing her brother her treat before placing a quick kiss on his forehead. "Thank you, Nee-chan~" Hakkai says before giving his sister a hug.
The youngest Mitsuya walks over to Taiju, whose eyes widen in curiosity once she was in front of him. "Um...Taiju-kun…" she says, looking down, avoiding his eyes. Yuzuha giggles, walking towards them, putting a hand on Mana's shoulder.
"Go on, Mana-chan" she whispers. Mana reveals the treat in her hands, holding it out towards Taiju. "This is for you! Yuzuha-oneechan says you like sweet things, so, I made it extra sweet for you!" she says, her face now red.
The eldest Shiba was shocked, his eyes widen.
In the background, Hakkai and Takashi try their best to hold back their laughter so they won't ruin the moment, finding it extremely cute. Hakkai quickly grabs his phone, making sure to capture every moment.
Taiju smiles fondly at the young girl as he accepts her treat. "Thank you, Mana." he says, gently placing his hand on her head, making the younger blush more.
"C-can...Can I hug you?" Mana says softly, sparkling eyes on Taiju now. "Of course." he says; the younger making excited sounds, climbing on the couch he was leaning on to give him a hug from behind, practically clinging to him now, looking extremely pleased.
"Here's mine, Taiju, Happy Valentine's day." Yuzuha says, handing Taiju her treat, earning a fond smile from her brother as he accepts it. "Thanks, Yuzuha." he says.
"You won't kiss him?" Mana asks innocently, tilting her head sidewards.
The older Shibas' eyes widen.
"You gave Hakkai-kun a kiss, you should give one to Taiju-kun too! He's your brother too!" Runa says, who was now sitting on Hakkai's lap.
Yuzuha feels her face warm up, her brother looking away from her, his ears now red.
Hakkai and Takashi were having the time of their lives, Hakkai being unable to hold back his laughter.
Yuzuha slowly moves closer to Taiju and places her hands on his shoulders, as she gives him a quick kiss on his cheek.
Taiju's heart melts.
Runa quickly gets up from Hakkai's lap, while Taiju helps Mana get down from her position, before the two younger girls quickly run to their brother.
"Nii-chan!" the two say, Takashi's eyes on them now.
"Happy Valentine's day!" they say, handing their treats over to him.
To say he was shocked was an understatement; he didn't even realize that tears started to stream down his face.
"Ah, Nii-chan" the two immediately hug their older brother.
"Taka-chan, don't cry!!!" Hakkai says, putting his phone down.
Taiju and Yuzuha couldn't help but laugh in amusement.
"Was it so much of a surprise to you, Takashi?" Yuzuha teases.
The teen simply nods, wiping away the tears.
"Yuzuha-oneechan cried like this to after we gave her our treats…" Runa says, making Taiju smirk at his younger sister. "You did?" he teases, as Yuzuha's face heats up. "Come on, you two! That was supposed to be our little secret!" Yuzuha exclaims, as everyone burst into laughter.
The two young girls slowly let go of their older brother, hands on both sides of his shoulders, as they place a kiss on his cheeks; Runa on the right side, Mana on the left. Takashi's cheeks slowly turn into a light shade of pink. "Thank you, you two. I'll eat these later when we get home!" Takashi says, now holding both sisters.
Yuzuha walks towards Takashi, settling herself in front if him. Taiju notices the younger girls glancing at each other. "Here's one from me to you, Ta- Mitsuya. Happy Valentine's day." Yuzuha hands him her treat, their hands lightly brushing against each other as he receives it.
"Thanks, Yuzuha. Thanks for helping these two, as well." he says, a gentle smile on his face.
"So," he says, catching her attention. "Where's my kiss?" he teases, making her face heat up once more.
"T-Taka-chan?!" Hakkai exclaims, looking at Taiju. "Aren't you bold?" Taiju says, eyes on Takashi now. "Unfortunately for you, Mitsuya, no kissing my sister when I'm around." Taiju says, as Takashi pouts.
"I'm safe!" Yuzuha thinks
"Ehhh, why not? It's Valentine's day!" Takashi whines.
"Taka-chan!"/"Takashi!" Hakkai and Yuzuha say in unison.
"So I can kiss her when you're not around, got it." Takashi mumbles to himself, his two sisters hearing every word, making them giggle.

"This tastes so good, Runa-chan!" Hakkai says, mouth full of food. "Hakkai, don't talk with your mouth full" Takashi scolds. "Hehe sorry, Taka-chan~" Hakkai replies, after swallowing the food.
"Taiju-kun, do you like it?" the youngest Mitsuya asks, huge, light brown eyes on Taiju. He had only took a bite out of the cupcake. "It's...delicious. I love it. Thanks, Mana." he says, a fond smile on his face, as he places his hand on her head once more.
"I'll go do the do the dishes." Yuzuha says, standing up. "I'll help you." Takashi responds, now standing up as well. "It's the least I can do, Yuzuha. Let me do this?" he says, before she could protest. She lets out a sigh before giving him a fond smile. "Fine"
The two teens stand in a comforting silence while doing the dishes, listening to their siblings talk in the background. Takashi washed the dishes, while Yuzuha dried them.
"Thanks, Yuzuha." Takashi breaks the silence, as he hands her the last dish, their eyes on each other's. "Mom was really surprised with the cake this morning." he says. "I'm glad she did." Yuzuha replies, a fond smile forming on her lips.
"I'm really happy that I got to spend today with all of you." she says, eyes meeting his once more.
He feels his heart skip a beat, as his eyes trail down on her rosy lips; he slowly leans down, lips a few inches away from hers.
"Happy Valentine's day, Yuzuha" he says, just before he closes the gap, as their lips meet. She flinches a bit, but manages to kiss back before he pulls away.
"Bold, aren't you?" she says, a smirk on her lips.
"I'm only following your brother's instructions, you know?" he teases.
Meanwhile…
Hakkai's eyes widen the second Takashi and Yuzuha's lips meet. "Taka-" his mouth was met with small hands. "SHHHH!" the two young girls turn to face him, serious looks on their faces.
"Looks like you owe me, then, Hakkai." Taiju whispers almost proudly, as he rests an arm on his younger brother's shoulder.
