My name is Evelyn Oak, and I'm currently set up in route 1. Ever since I was a little girl, I've been interested in pokemon research like my father.
Recently however, I've heard of sightings of an unusual pokemon. People have tried photographing it, but all they've managed to get was a red blur. So that's why I'm in route 1. I want to see it for myself.
I've been waiting all day for it to appear, but still nothing. It's late, so I set up camp for the night.
I wake up to sounds of growling. I open my eyes to see my Growlithe out of its pokeball. "Growlithe, what's going on?" I ask but it doesn't stop growling. It also appears to be staring straight ahead. I look in that direction but see nothing.
But I hear something. It sounds like... singing? I think to myself maybe it's a pokemon, but I've never heard a pokemon sound like that before. I notice the sound get louder. I move closer to Growlithe as the sound gets louder.
I can see it now. A red pokemon, it's the one I've been waiting to see. Suddenly, Growlithe goes from growling to barking frantically. The red pokemon notices us and halts its singing. I hold my breath as it approaches us.
Growlithe begins whining as it hides its face in my side. I go to reach for my camera with a shaky hand when it lets out a loud shriek. I manage to raise my camera up to it before it bares its fangs at me.
With a shaky breath, I press the button on the camera, my other arm holding Growlithe tightly.
