"Seriously, thank you for the offer, we could've gotten a babysitter though," Heeseung says, watching Jungwon run towards Riki who was just as excited to see him.
"Babysitters cost money, we're doing this for free. Because I am a great friend and that is what a great friend does." Sunghoon tells him with a smug smile.
"I have no idea how much patience Riki has to deal with you." The older sighs and proceed to laugh after.
"Ouch but, no Riki tolerates everything I do because he loves me," Sunghoon answers, glancing to the living room to see the younger talking to Jay while watching Jungwon play with his plushie.
"Seriously though, we don't mind. Jungwon and Riki love and enjoy each other's company, it's nothing to worry about. You and Jay haven't had a date for how long?" Sunghoon asks.
"A few months..." Heeseung murmurs,
"yeah, so go have fun. Live your life like how you two did back in your teen days, trust me, Jungwon will be fine." Heeseung smiles and nods.
"I know, I'm just nervous... We haven't had a proper date in so long,"
"oh, I see... whatever happens, don't forget to have fun." Heeseung nods.
"Love, you good?" Jay asks as he walked into the kitchen. The older hums, "I'm okay"
"Are you ready to go?" jay asks as he placed a kiss on his neck. "Yeah, I am."
"Have fun, you two~" Sunghoon waves as they left
Now you. Sunghoon walks back into the house, paying attention to the living room where Jungwon and Riki were located.
Sunghoon watches Jungwon introduce Riki to his plushies.
"And which one is your favorite?" Riki asks, "I like them all!" Jungwon says, then goes closer to Riki.
"But Mr. Frog is my favorite, Don't tell anyone I said that though, I don't want them to be sad." Jungwon tries to say in a low tone.
Which made Riki laugh and pat his head, "Of course, that's a secret between you and me."
"Now what are you two whispering about?" Sunghoon suddenly says, startling the two.
"Uncle Hoonie!! We were just talking about plushies!" Sunghoon nods.
"Is the pink one new?" He asks, pointing to a pink cat plushie that had a rainbow necktie.
"yes! Mr. Mong Mong is new!! Mama got me him yesterday." the kid says happily. "Was it a surprise?"
"yes! Mama said that he got a surprise for me and came home with Mong Mong after work!!" he giggles. "That's sweet, Mama must love you alot~"
"He does! He probably loves daddy more because mama says he and daddy were in love before I was born."
Riki ruffles his hair, "Are you jealous of mama loving daddy more than you?" Jungwon shakes his head.
"Daddy and Mama knew each other way before I knew mama! But I wanna cuddle with Mama when we sleep too!" The child pouts. "Don't you guys always cuddle?"
"I have my own room now, and Mama always comes home later than Daddy does! So Mama's too tired and daddy's the only one who gets to cuddle Mama to sleep."
The couple only chuckles, "Aww it's okay Wonie, I'm sure mama will let you cuddle him when he's freer."
"I know! Mama always cuddles with me on weekends,"
Suddenly,
Sunghoon's phone rings.
"You guys play, I'm gonna take this call," he says and walks away.
"Uncle Kiki, I have a question," Jungwon says. "Hm? What's wrong?"
"When did you realize you were in love with uncle Hoonie? Daddy told me that he fell in love with mama during high school... but did he just fall in love when he saw mama?" The child tilts his head as he asked.
Riki laughs, feeling amused by the question. "Wonie, baby, you're still young. You'll understand one day. But I guess I'll try to tell you."
The child squeals with happiness and looks with Riki with sparks in his eyes, which only makes the older smile and ruffle his hair.
"I and your uncle Hoonie met during high school too, he was my senior. Your daddy's and my parents were friends so we knew each other since before I even moved to high school." Riki says.
"And your daddy was friends with Uncle Hoonie so we got to knew each other too."
"I honestly don't remember how I started falling for him but I realize it when we first started dating." He says, staring back at Jungwon with the same exact doe eyes.
Jungwon was confused, he could easily tell. "What did you realize Uncle Kiki?"
"I realized that your Uncle Hoonie was the one for me." The child frowns, "You'll understand when you grow up, I don't know how to explain either." Jungwon giggles.
"But Uncle Ki... My classmates call me weird for having two fathers... When I told them that my mama was a male, some of them stopped talking to me." Jungwon says in a sad tone.
"Well-" "Hey kiddos, I'm back," Sunghoon says as he came back to the living room.
"Kiddos?" Riki repeats and looks at him, "Yeah, why? You're my baby too." Riki scrowls.
"I'm taller than you." "I'm older, shut up."
Jungwon giggles as he watched his uncles bicker.
"Uncles!" He calls out after a while,
"yes, baby? Do you want anything?" Sunghoon asks, "I'm hungry" he pouts.
"Oh! Of course, I'm gonna go make food, Riki-" Sunghoon's words were cut off by getting the sudden shock of seeing Riki's face so close to his.
It's not that they've never seen each other that close or that they have never kissed,
It was just so sudden,
"I know, Go cook. don't burn the kitchen." The younger says and kisses his cheek. "says you, you burnt my pot last time when you tried to make boiled eggs."
Riki rolls his eyes, "whatever, go cook."
Sunghoon smiles at him, "Okay, Mr. Grumpy. I'll go cook."
Jungwon watches with a big smile.
"Why are you smiling so much?" Riki asks as he noticed.
"Nothing," The child giggles.
Riki grins and attacks the child with tickles.
Laughter fills the living room as Riki continued to tickle the child.
Riki stops and leans against the couch, "You kick like a madman." he says.
Jungwon only pouts and stares at him.
"You two, no fighting!! I'm not gonna accidentally burn my food just because of a silly argument!" Sunghoon yells from the kitchen.
"Uncle Hoonie, We're not fighting," Jungwon says. "Alright, Wonie. I trust you."
"But you don't trust me!? Hyung!" Riki whined. "I did not say that, Riki."
"Uncle Kiki, you act like a baby!" Jungwon giggles. "Babies are cute, I'll take that as a compliment."
As they finish dinner, the couple watches as Jungwon plays with his plushies.
Sunghoon's phone rings once again.
"Hello?"
"Uh hey, Hoon... Jay got a little bit too drunk- um could you guys babysit Jungwon until tomorrow? I don't think we're able to come to pick him up."
Sunghoon laughs, "of course, Take care of him well."
Heeseung mutters a "thanks" before ending the call.
"Wonie~"The child looks up at him. "Daddy got too drunk and Mama says that they won't be able to pick you up until tomorrow, How about a sleepover at ours?" Sunghoon asks.
The child yells in excitement and jumps. " I love sleepovers!!"
Riki snorts, " I thought Jay hyung had a high tolerance of alcohol."
"The only person with a high tolerance of alcohol is Heeseung hyung," Sunghoon says and kisses his cheek.
"Uncle Hoonie, Uncle Kiki!! Can we watch a movie, pleaseeee?" Wonie pleaded.
"Sure, Let's choose now, why don't we?" Riki replies.
Jungwon joins them on the couch with a big smile.
