Summary
It is tradition that when a wolf is coming of age, they get a single bullet imbued with powerful magic as mysterious as the history of wolves itself.
The bullets offer an unique opportunity every wolf aspires to find: their true mate.
Jimin has an entire box of forty-two silver bullets that belonged to his ancestors. They are keepsakes. But when their neighbouring pack attacks them in an attempt to take over their leadership, Jimin is in a rush and loads his gun with the magic bullets. When he tries to shoot their vicious alpha king, the bullets show him the truth.
The last thing he sees before drowning in darkness is the alpha's mocking grin which burns into his mind.
