Hope you enjoy!

Work Text:

Jisung was currently having the time of his life eating the best sausage in his entire life, swallowing it with such happiness, this was not his usual energy drink with whatever leftovers he had for dinner. This was a taste of paradise.

"You look like you haven't eaten for days," Chan commented as Jisung's cheeks became full.

"I haven't eaten anything for a whole day, what did you expect?" Jisung said as he took another bite.

"You woke up two hours ago..." Chan looked at him with a cocked-up eyebrow.

"And? We're in Germany, it's like 9 pm in Korea! So a whole day!" Jisung argued with Chan while Chan just let out an airy laugh.

Right. I should explain how they got in there in the first place.

Chan and Jisung are good friends, they have known each other for two years, however, their trip to Germany was kind of an accident.

Jisung was in one of the university's studios producing a song for one of his classes. It was 3 am, but he was as energetic as always, music made him feel alive. Or maybe it's the fact that he took a 5-hour nap.

Either way, he was completely into the song, being blissfully unaware of his surroundings until a bottle of soju was put right in front of him.

Startled, he looked at the figure beside him. "Oh god Hyung you startled me, wait aren't you supposed to be packing right now?"

There stood Chan, who was supposed to be getting ready for his flight to Germany. "I got dumped," he said with a weak smile and that's when Jisung noticed his tear-stained cheeks and red, puffed-up eyes.

"What? Hyung, oh my god are you okay? Wait, no that's a stupid question, I'm sorry, come here," Jisung said hurriedly and stood up so he could give his friend a hug.

Chan quickly found his way in Jisung's embrace. "Do you want to talk about it?" Jisung asked softly as Chan sobbed.

"What's there to talk about? He said that he doesn't love me anymore and that he wants to break up, said that he found someone else," Chan's grip got tighter on Jisung as if scared that he would disappear.

"What will you do about Germany?" Chan was rich, he wasn't the annoying "I am better than anyone" type of rich, but he lived well and he could afford to take his boyfriend on a romantic spring break to Germany.

"Nothing, I just won't go, it will just remind me of how I got dumped and make me miserable," Chan sniffled.

"Rich people," Jisung said jokingly and Chan giggled.

"Let's just drink," said Chan as he got out of the hug.

And they did drink. Perhaps a bit too much considering the talk they had.

"I just don't know what I did wrong?" Chan said taking a shot of soju.

"You didn't do anything wrong! You're amazing!" Jisung slurred.

"Then why did he leave me?" Chan slurred back.

"Because he's a dick! He doesn't deserve you! You're so great, you're literally the best person I have ever met, you only ever try to do the best for others and you don't deserve anything less than the best!" Jisung slurred and it made a smile appear on Chan's face.

And then an idea entered Chan's intoxicated brain.

"You know what? Come with me to Germany!"

 "You know what? Alright!"

And the rest of it is pretty much a blur. They woke up in an airplane both with terrible headaches and confusion.

After an unpleasant ride to the hotel, they both fell on the bed, proceeding to fall back into slumber. It was just slightly awkward to do with flower petals around them.

And now they were in the middle of a market, eating famous German sausages. A pretty crazy story, yes.

"Good thing I didn't reserve anything for today. Tomorrow, however, there is a concert," Jisungs ears perked up at that, "it's in honor of Johann Sebastian Bach! They'll play his best works there!" And as soon as Chan said that, all the excitement in Jisung faded away.

"You gotta be kidding me!" He exclaimed. "What? I thought as a music major you'd like that," Chan tilted his head in confusion, which made him look adorable and Jisung had no shame admitting it, he knows his friend is absolutely amazingly good-looking, there was no denying it.

"Hyung. I like EDM, it is quite different from classical music," Jisung explained with hand movements. He did that when he tried to emphasize things, this time he was emphasizing that he does not enjoy classical music, at least not enough to sit 3 hours through a classical music concert.

"Well, it's important to know every kind of music, so this will be a good music lesson. And just so you know, these tickets were hard to get!" Chan said excitedly while Jisung let out a sigh. "Of course they were."

Jisung contemplated for a long time if he should go to the concert, but Chan got those tickets to go with his boyfriend who dumped him on the day of a flight, the least he could do is go to the concert. So he put himself together, wore his best suit, which he surprisingly packed, and went to the concert with Chan.

On the way to the concert, Chan excitedly told Jisung interesting facts about Johann Sebastian Bach and while Jisung really did try to listen, he got very much distracted by how good Chan looked in a suit and how much his eyes glowed, even in the dark they looked like stars, shining brighter than any other.

Jisung feared he would fall asleep and he would feel awful if he did, but surprisingly, he actually enjoyed it. He was surprised by the amount of work put into it and was amazed by the compositions.

On the way back it was mostly Jisung who was excitedly telling Chan about the concert. Chan tried to listen to every word he said, but perhaps some words went through one ear and out of the other when Jisung seemed especially excited. When his eyes grew wide, his hand movements became wilder and he started jumping a bit trying to explain what he meant. And maybe he looked a bit too cute for Chan's feelings to be considered friendly.

"But please tell me that we're doing something more exciting tomorrow. My ass hurts from sitting so long," Jisung complained as they entered their hotel room.

Chan laughed before saying: "Yes, don't worry we're going to the zoo." At that Jisung's eyes immediately widened. "To the zoo?" He asked, already excited and jumping around. Chan laughed even harder, barely being able to say "yes".

"Hey, Channie Hyung, that's you!" Jisung said pointing at a rhino, Chan looked at him unimpressed. "That's the fifth animal you have compared to me today."

"You just look like a lot of animals! You're diverse!" Jisung said in a very smart voice trying to prove his point. "Diverse huh?" Chan asked. "Mhm, very diverse." Jisung nodded his head with an expression that read "you're finally getting my point."

"I'll show you what's diverse," Chan said and started chasing Jisung around the zoo as Jisung screamed.

Soon enough, Chan caught Jisung, pulling Jisung close to him. Jisung curses the fact that Chan is super athletic and lets the other squeeze the air out of him.

"The worst few minutes of my life," Jisung said as soon as Chan let him out of his grip. Chan looked at him with a questioning look, towering over Jisung making him immediately regret his words "I'm joking! I'm joking!"

Chan laughed and ruffled his hair before saying "let's grab something to eat."

The two grabbed some ice cream and continued their walk around the zoo. Jisung was telling interesting facts about animals, while Chan was intently listening to him, but then Jisung unknowingly got ice cream smeared near his lip.

"Oh, wait a sec," Chan said and wiped off the ice cream with his finger and Jisung froze. Chan's finger was so close to his lip he accidentally touched it, making Jisung's brain turn into a washing machine.

"Done! There was just a bit of ice cream!" Chan said with a smile and it took a second for Jisung to realize Chan said something. "Oh, right, thanks!" He said in kind of a robotic voice, making Chan confused, but he soon regained his composure and continued to talk about animals in the zoo.

The next day they went to different museums, while doing so they also got familiar with the city, went to Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate, and Reichstag. At the end of the day, Jisung got tired and Chan noticed that.

"Jisung-ah, do you want to go back to the hotel and rest?" He asked pulling Jisung in a side hug. "No, it's alright, you wanted to go to that one museum."

"We're not going to a museum if you're tired, I don't want to exhaust you," Chan said, already pulling out his phone to call for a taxi. "No, no you wanted to! This is your trip, we should do whatever you want!" Jisung quickly said.

Chan didn't even look up from his phone, already calling the taxi. "And I want you to rest so we're going to the hotel."

On their ride to the hotel, Jisung fell asleep on Chan's shoulder. Chan looked at Jisung's soft features, as a sudden realization crept up to his mind from his heart. Chan never wanted to go on the trip with anyone else but Jisung.

"Alright, so today is the last day so we're going to the amusement park today, I even rented a car to get to the Heide Park, it's quite far, but it's supposedly worth it," Chan said as they were eating breakfast, he hoped that Jisung has rested enough.

"Hell yeah! I love amusement parks! This is going to be so fun!" Jisung said excitedly with a full mouth and while Chan is supposed to judge him for that, he just looked at him lovingly.

On the way to the amusement park, they played exciting music and sang along as if there was not a care in the world.

In the amusement park, they went on every ride they had there which surprised Chan as Jisung is scared of heights.

"Listen, I might be scared of heights, but the thrilling feeling and the adrenaline are SO worth it," Jisung explained as they stood in a line for one of the rides.

They also shared a lot of snacks, as well as laughter and screams. The both of them felt so alive, so happy.

There was a water ride that they didn't expect to be so wet, but after the ride, both of them were pretty much soaked in water.

"Well I did not expect that," Chan said as the water was dripping from his hair. Jisung did not pay as much attention to his hair as he did to the shirt though.

Chan, surprisingly, wore a white shirt instead of a black one, that bastard, and that meant that well it had turned pretty much see-through and Jisung seemed to like how it looked.

"Yeah, me neither," Jisung replied a bit late, finally averting his gaze from Chan's stomach, and instead they landed on Chan's eyes. "We should probably change, it's not that warm, do you have spare clothes?" He added.

"Uh no, but we can buy theme park shirts!" And so they did, Chan bought a black one, no surprises here, so Jisung did. "Look, we have couples shirts now!" Jisung said winking and Chan laughed at that, his ears also got slightly redder, not that Jisung noticed though.

After a long day in the amusement park, they decided to end the day with the Ferris wheel. It was calm and nice, a light wind was making their hair dance. It was not so nice for Jisung though, he was close to Chan's side who was holding him tight.

"Why did you agree on a Ferris wheel? Look how scared you are!" Chan asked, not liking the sight of a scared Jisung.

"I didn't think it would be this scary," Jisung lied, but unfortunately to Jisung, Chan knew he was lying. "Jisung, don't lie to me."

Jisung contemplated for a second before he answered again. "You seemed to really want to, and I thought that..." he didn't want to complete his sentence, too embarrassed.

Chan wasn't satisfied with the answer though. He lightly lifted Jisung's cheek so he could look into his eyes. "You can tell me Jisung." Jisung again contemplated for a bit. "I thought that it would be romantic," he said with red cheeks. "It's stupid really."

Chan smiled at him, "romantic?" Jisung rolled his eyes already awaiting all the teasing but instead, he got Chan's lips on his own. He quickly closed his eyes and leaned in the touch.

After Chan pulled away a bit he put their foreheads together and looked in Jisung's eyes with the same amount of love Jisung's eyes were showing him.

 "Like this?"

 "Yeah."
