“Visit a graveyard. Pay your respects there. Don’t come to see me,” there were dozens of bodyless headstones there, and countless unmarked and left in the battlefield, and here she was, standing and stubbornly a corpse without a grave. Her body begged for it, for death, to be left in the earth to decay, a rock with a name she wanted to die along with it.
