Chapter Text
Peter had been so focused in the sky that he didn’t even sense the danger coming from below. In his defense, his spider sense had been going in hyperdrive ever since he left the apartment he shared with aunt May; so nobody should blame him for getting so freaked out when the heavy hand fell on his shoulder. And certainly, nobody should blame him for the undignified scream that tore out of his throat at the sight of the red devil of Hell’s Kitchen.
“Kid, relax. I’m not going to kill you.”
But it was too late, Peter had been anything but relaxed for the last 48 hours. With reflexes that would have made even the Black Widow proud, he swung his legs under Daredevil and before the man had even hit the ground Spider-Man had run through the alleyway and into the main street.
Daredevil watched him go a little amazed at the move. Still, this was his territory and Daredevil didn’t take kindly to vigilantes coming and going as they wished. So with practiced moves, Daredevil went after him.
