By the time she lands in Amity Park, things have gotten extremely worse.
Her vision is blobby and distorted, like her eye socket is no longer where it should be. Her skin isn’t quite melting, but she can feel it sagging like sheets of rubber. One leg takes longer to step than the other, forcing her to stare down at her legs and carefully count out every step.
At least she knows better than to go to the Fentons’ home in this condition. They have traps all over the property, and she doesn’t trust herself to dodge them.

Some days he’s numb. Some days he’s twitchy. Some days, he feels like he isn’t even the same person from before the accident.
The ghosts, though, they’re just the kicker, because they’re another result of the accident, and they’re like constant, inescapable reminders that he’d be just fine if he had listened to his practically insane parents. They seem to show up almost every day, always laughing or screaming and causing a ruckus, and every day, Phantom comes with them.
Danny thinks he hates Phantom the most. Sometimes, he swears Phantom is wearing his own face.

“No kidding!” King yelps, wiggling out of Steve’s arms so he can plant his paws on his hips and glare. “We have to go out on another ride sometime.”

Steve goes pale.
“Ah, Eda!” Camila chides. “Don’t torment the poor boy.”
“It was a totally consensual kidnapping!” King adds cheerfully.

Summary
Ben never built himself up as some pinnacle of good advice, and he has no idea where all these kids decided he’d be the place to get it from.
With every kid he talks to, though, the number of them cycling through his home seems to increase exponentially. Sometimes they just need a moment of quiet, and Ben’s home is a place of solitude in the maze of the multiverse, but other times the job got hard and they need some time to stop being Spider-Man, or Spider-Woman, or Spider-Bite or whatever they choose to go by when they’re not in Ben’s home, just being themselves.
Some of them lost their own version of Ben Parker. Peter Parkers are still inexplicably a dime a dozen among the spiders, and sometimes the spider doesn’t even need to be related to Ben to have been affected by the loss of him.

Sometimes, the multiverse stuff gets confusing, especially with tenses.

After a moment, Strange finishes his spell, letting out a sigh as he drops his magic. The arc reactor in his hand shimmers with power, both magical and regular, the steady white-blue now accented by shivering, red-orange symbols that gently orbit the metal casing.
“Fancy,” Tony says, reaching out to take it.
Strange pulls his hand back instead and says, “Forgive me, Tony.”
Tony can’t move. He freezes in place, hand twitching above the changed arc reactor. Confusion, followed by shock, followed very quickly by fear driven anger as Tony snap his eyes back to Strange.
Strange meets his gaze and says, “When you find him, ask Tim for help.”

Summary
It had been a long and difficult 27 years since the Hail Mary had launched. Not as terrible as it could have been, but not easy. Humanity had survived and adapted, as it always did. There had been terrible wars. There had been incredible acts of kindness. There had been massive scientific breakthroughs. And now, there were two distant blips of Petrova-light, picked up by the Deep Space Network, hurtling home. Two probes, braking hard as they hurtled toward Earth holding the secrets to its salvation. They were late, or at least, not very early, but they were here.
Grace may have made his peace with dying to save Rocky, but Rocky insists they return to Earth.
