Previously, Danny Fenton was an average fourteen-year-old boy who developed ghost powers thanks to his parents' invention, the Ghost Portal.
He made everything work out, but eventually, he needed to separate himself for the better.
Now, two years have passed since the event of Phantom Planet, and Danny is trying to survive school while dealing with many issues.
Mainly in this story, his alternative self, who accidentally, or not, made him his bride.
Now, Danny, alongside the A-Listers, has to keep it a secret from everyone in his world. Much worse, said fiancé, is the ruler of the Ghost Zone, and one that has humans as enemies.
Why do these things always happen to him???

“I— shouldn't be crying,” he stutters, and she shakes her head, still wiping his tears, her face soft.
“It’s normal to cry,” she soothed. “It's normal to despair. Don't ever apologize for that. You just lost your entire family. Why shouldn't you cry? Anyone who rejects you for crying, I reject them the same. If the world rejects you, I reject that world.”
What big, bold words she spoke.
“I don't want to feel like this,” he pleaded. “It's so awful to feel like this.”
“I know,” she murmured. “I know.”
She wipes at his face calmly, until he runs out of tears. “To cry at a funeral is normal,” she tells him, smiling softly. “This grief is how you know you still remember them. Let yourself feel it, Danny Fenton.”

A chance to escape his parents' profession without leaving Amity Park unprotected is all Danny wants for his senior year. The new ghost saving people from disaster might be his key out, if only Danny can overcome his parents' ingrained prejudice long enough to reach out his hand and ask for it.

What actually happened was Phantom falling to the ground and being seen physically splitting into two people, two sides of himself that weren't supposed to be separated: human, fragile with black hair and blue eyes and freckles, and ghost, sturdy with white hair and green eyes and green green freckles.
