Summary
Deckard tried to call sometimes. Owen wasn’t sure what made him think that he would ever pick up the phone. That wasn’t how things went. He had never answered his phone if it was family and just because Deckard saved him from prison didn’t mean he was going to change that. The phone was for business and nothing else.
But still his brother texted and called at regular intervals. The texts grew increasingly irritated and threatening the longer Owen ignored them. He looked at each of them to get rid of the notifications and listened to the voicemails to clear out the box. He just never replied. It wasn’t what he did and he wasn’t going to change that. Not even when their mother called and texted.
He lived a rather solitary life and he enjoyed not being bothered.
