Iruka and Kakashi both haven't had a serious relationship before, but what happens when they try? Kakashi x Iruka slow burn, where the two try to figure out how to be in a serious, stable relationship and how to love another person (and themselves!). Will have some mature content along the way. Part one of a three-part series, with this first part running up to the beginning of Shippuden. The second part will cover most of Shippuden. Part 3 will be non-sequential drabbles, occurring after the Fourth War and prior to Boruto!
First few chapters are short, but subsequent chapters are longer! Join me for the ride! I'm trying to keep it pretty much canon compliant, but small divergences may occur here or there! A note on spelling convention - I know it's fairly common to use Jōnin or Chūnin, but it's easier for me to use Jounin and Chuunin. I do not own these characters and am not making a profit on this activity. I just really ship these two and want to write about it.
