Work Text:
It’s been three years. Three years since I fell off that building. Three years since I’ve seen buddy (the real one at least). Three fucking years I’ve been stuck with the board of fresh starts. One day I’ll get out of here though. I’ll escape from the abuse of Rasbach and the others. I’m done with this.
What do you think Buddy?
‘Frankly I think it’s a bit dangerous but where’s the fun in life without a little spice?’
I smile at that. Buddy always did encourage me, except when I was about to do something impulsive and rash. Granted this may be a bit impulsive and rash, but I’ll plan carefully. I’ll make sure it will work. I’ll practice and pay attention to every tell, every move. I will get out of here. I will see Buddy again.
Thanks for the encouragement bud, you always know what to say.
‘Well darling you know I’ll always be with you. No matter what’
One day, I’ll be free. One day I’ll find my Buddy. Talking to her in my head became somewhat of a comfort in my situation. It may be a bad way to cope, but it’s all I got.
‘Sit up, we wouldn’t want to ruin that good posture that we worked so hard on would we?’
I giggled and straightened my back Buddy’s smooth and almost sultry tone always makes my brain happy.
“Jeez stop nagging what’s a girl got to do around here to relax?” I said audibly. Whoops.
The people next to me at the bar stared, it’s not like they didn’t know what being stuck on the Cerberus Province can do to someone.
“What are you looking at,” I growled out. Angrily I took one last sip of the crap they call a Sandy Refresher and stormed out.
One day I’ll get out of here. I’ll see my Buddy again. Oh to actually see and hear her, to actually feel her arms around me, to feel her soft lips against mine.
One day
