In the Snowdrop era, Jisoo and Jennie unfortunately didn’t have that much time together. Both of them were busy doing their own appointments, especially Jisoo, with all the promotions and interviews.
Jn : “Cuddle with me tonite? Please?”
Jennie sent the text message to Jisoo, hoping the latter won’t have any schedule till late night again. She’s missed her girlfriend so much. Jennie and Jisoo have their own apartments. But usually, both of them just stayed at one of theirs together. Most of the times it’s Jennie’s. But with all the busy schedule, they’ve been staying at their own apartments for about a week now.
7 minutes later, she got a reply.
Js: “I’ll be there around 8. Miss you Jendeuk.”
Jennie smiled reading the text.
Jn: “I’ll be waiting. xo.”
8.11 p.m
Jennie was watching snowdrop interviews on her phone while waiting for Jisoo to arrive. She often does that. She would look up videos of Jisoo on the internet whenever she misses her girlfriend or even when she needs a simple good laugh.
Then, Jennie heard someone entering the apartment.
Js: “Jendeuk??”
Jn: “Here!!”
Jennie ran out of her bedroom to the front door, then throw herself on Jisoo, giving her tight hugs and kisses.
Js: “Awww Jendeukiee, you missed the that much, didn’t you??”
Jn: “Unnie!! Didn’t you miss me too? Oh my god it’s been too long! Promise me we’ll never be apart for this much long anymore okay??”
Js: “Oh come on. It’s only been a week, Jennie.”
They proceeded to enter the apartment to the living room.
Jn: “But a week feels like a year without you, Unnie.”
Js: “Hmmm, clingy Jendeuk. I miss that side of you hahaha.”
Jn: “Yah!”
Js: “Okay, okay. Sorry. So, what do you wanna do right now?”
Jn: “Nothing. Like I said, I just missed you so much and I just wanna cuddle. Let’s just sit here on the couch and watch the TV.”
Js: “Sounds good. Lemme grab some beer and make popcorn. You get the blanket.”
Jn: “Okay!”
10 minutes later, they were both already on the couch watching Jennie’s favorite variety show. Jisoo wrapped her arm around Jennie’s body and Jennie rested her head on Jisoo’s shoulder. Both of them were busy laughing while eating fresh popcorn.
Jn: “I miss this Unnie, just you and me relaxing, eating popcorn and watch some TV. I don’t like being away from you too long.”
Jennie raised her head up to meet Jisoo’s eyes. Jisoo leaned in to kiss her.
Js: “I really, really miss you too Jennie.”
Jn: “How’s everything so far with all the…. well, things?”
Js: “Everything is definitely more under control, for sure. The controversy is cooling down, everybody seems like enjoying the show. I guess JTBC had handled the situation very well.”
Jn: “Are you?”
Js: “Am I what?”
Jn: “Enjoying the show? I mean, I knew how much you’ve been working hard on your first drama and how much you’ve waited for it to air. You knew how much it broke my heart seeing you got flustered the first time the controversy arose. I hated seeing you miserable, Jisoo.”
Jennie always calls Jisoo by her name in serious situation.
Js: “No, no. Really, I’m totally okay now. I’m so glad I got a solid team in Snowdrop. We give each other strength and we believe in each other. And I’m so glad I got you by my side through all the mess back then. You don’t know how much your support means to me, Jennie. Thank you, really.”
Jn: “Oh please don’t mention it, baby. Of course I’ll always be by your side.”
Js: “I’m sooo happy, Jen, like, the other day, I got some texts from my friends saying they’re watching the broadcast and that they’re proud of me. Those simple things, Jendeuk. Those simple things really did make my day much better.”
Jn: “I’m so happy for you, Unnie. You really deserved it. I know Snowdrop hasn’t even finished yet but I just can’t wait for more of Actress Jisoo in the future. I love seeing you finally doing the this. I know how much you’ve always wanted to do acting.”
Js: “Thank you, baby.”
Jn: “Which one is better, Unnie?”
Js: “What?”
Jn: “Acting or being an idol. Which one do you enjoy more?”
Js: “Honey.. come on.”
Jn: “No no, it’s not that. I’m not asking you to ‘choose’. I’m just curious which one you found more… exciting? Comforting? I don’t know.”
Js: “Hmm.. well, I guess I’m still too early into acting to know my comfort zone. Acting is definitely fun and new, but I still haven’t got the feeling that this thing is worth dropping my singing career, you know? In the back of my head I still know for sure that Blackpink is still my top priority, but acting is definitely an option if I wanted to do something else in between our schedule. I just want to make sure that I do everything seriously and wholeheartedly, you know? I don’t want to just hop in here and there just because I can. I fell in love with both singing and acting so it’s just impossible to choose either one. Besides, the excitement is different.”
Jn: “Like how?”
Js: “Well in acting, I get to be whoever I wanted. I get to dig into one character wildly without any boundaries. The probability is wide open, and definitely a lot more emotions to explore. New story every time, new people and new places. But in singing, I get to be just myself. The Jisoo that everbody knows. And I’m doing it with the people I’m familiar with. And the best feeling of being on stage is the direct energy we get. Seeing people singing along to our song is the best feeling ever and I don’t get that in making films. So you know, I think I could never choose between the two cause they give me different kinds of energy that I both enjoy.
Jn: “Wow. Unnie, you truly are wonderful, you know that?”
Js: “Only because I have you as my number one support, Jennie. I genuinely think I could never have done this without you.”
Jisoo kissed her girlfriend
Jn: “You know, while waiting for you to come I watched every interviews you did for Snowdrop.”
Js: “You did??”
Jn: “Yeah. But then I got really jealous.”
Js: “Oh Jendeuk, come on. You know I’ll only spend time with Hae In Oppa till the promotion is over. We got our lifetime together, baby.”
Jn: “Uh-uh, not because of that.”
Js: “Oh? Then what?”
Jn: “In one of the interviews he said that he knows you well because he knows your nicknames.”
Jisoo burst out laughing.
Jn: “Yaaa! I’m serious Unnie! I felt so jealous because I know you better! I mean, come on, everybody knows your nickname is ‘Jisoonie’. It isn’t something new.”
Jennie gave out a cute little pout.
Js: “Aww okay Jennie, alright. I know you know me better than anyone else in this world. Seriously Jennie, you really don’t need to feel jealous of him. He is just complimenting me, that’s all. You know no one knows me better that you do, baby.”
Jisoo brought Jennie into a warm hug and kissed her lips and forehead.
Jn: “Well good. Cause I can’t take anymore jealousy in my body after that last episode.”
Js: “What? What about last episode?”
Jennie was just silent.
Js: “Aaahh, that episode? The kiss?? Really Jennie? Did that scene really get into you?? Hahahaha!”
Jisoo loves teasing her jealous girlfriend.
Jn: “Yeah well, in my defense, I was jealous because even if it’s only once, he got to kiss you in public. While us? I get to kiss you as much as I want to but can’t do it in public. It’s not fair!”
Js: “Jendeukie, honey, I would much rather be with you even if it takes the hell out of my patience of not being able to show the world how much I love you. I know this is hard, Jennie. I too want to take you out on a romantic date without having to have extra security, or take a walk with you at the park and kiss you by the lake. But if those things are just gonna get us in difficult situation, then I don’t want it. I’d rather hold your hands when we walk and kiss you all over when we got back at home. I love you and you only. Isn’t it all that matters?”
Jn: “I know, Unnie. I’m sorry. I guess I just miss you so much.”
Js: “It’s okay, baby. I like you being jealous.”
Jn: “Really?”
Js: “Yeah. I know it’s your way to show that you love me.”
Jn: “Well, I don’t know about that. Even that little peck could make me wanna throw the remote at the TV. I don’t know what I’ll do if you did a full on kiss.”
Jennie always found a way to get back at Jisoo.
Js: “Aaaahh, ‘that little peck’ huhhh?? I guess someone has tried to step up the game now huh? Alrighty then, I’ll go on full make out session with my co star on my next drama and I’ll make you watch it on set, how bout that?”
Jn: “Not gonna happen.”
Js: “Why not? I’d really do that, you know.”
Jn: “Cause he’ll be dead even before the shooting started.”
Jisoo and Jennie laughed.
Js: “Well then, in the meantime, why don’t we just go on full make out session ourselves, huh Jen?
Jn: “Oh smooth one, Jisoo-ssi.”
Jisoo pulled Jennie in and kissed her deep and passionately.
