Chapter Text
" I'm back!!" The blonde announced as he entered the small cabin him and his lover built by their bare hands, a shelter to protect them from the close minded people from their past home.
"Already? I thought you'd be back a little later," Simeon says as he wipes his hand on the apron he's wearing before jumping on to his husband's arms to give him a short kiss.
"You sound like you're not happy to see me," Satan replied with a giggle.
"Nonsense... it's just that—" the brunette trailed off while motioning someone to come outside. Satan hummed in response but before he was able to mutter out a word, a small blonde puppy with blue eyes ran outside with cute little barks announcing his presence.
"I just needed more time to practice convincing you into keeping this puppy I found near the river. He was really dirty and I didn't know that he has a beautiful shiny coat I honestly thought that it was brown with all the dirt covering him," he elaborated with a smile followed by short giggles. "Reminds me of your shiny coat actually," he teased while caressing Satan's hair.
"There's no need to practice. I'm already convinced," Satan replies as he takes the hand Simeon used to caresse his hair and placed a soft kiss on it.
"You're getting really charming nowadays," Simeon says while raising a brow with a smile.
"I've been practicing lately," he replied with a wink.
While the lover birds kept on teasing each other back and forth, the puppy got tired of it and started barking, demanding attention.
"Oh I'm sorry, little guy. I forgot about you for a second," he says while picking out the small creature.
"So, what should we name him?," Satan asks while petting the puppy.
"Remember that kid that kept visiting us?"
"You mean Luke?"
"Yeah, they look alike. With the blonde hair and blue eyes."
"Yeah, you're right. Should we name him Luke then?"
"Definitely."
The puppy seemed pleased with his new found name, wagging his tail and all.
The three of them bonded for the rest of the night before it was finally bed time. Simeon already prepared a small bed for Luke, perfect for his side but at the middle of the night, he felt lonely and ended up climbing the bed and slept in between the couple.
