Summary
In the aftermath of Miranda’s rampage, a human chemist is left to teach the Dimitrescu daughters in their mother’s absence. After a year apart, Alcina Dimitrescu finds that her home and beloved daughters have changed, adding an additional hardship as she struggles to overcome the trauma of killing Miranda. Despite herself, she finds support and a close friend in her daughters’ teacher (and a crush she struggles to ignore).
Meanwhile, the Black God avenges the loss of its chosen vessel.
