   Summary

   Dean whips around, there are tears in his eyes, it shocks Cas to the bone. He can’t remember the last time he saw Dean cry so openly. “I won’t disappear. You can’t make me disappear. Just because you say it’s over for us.”

   “I didn’t…” Cas starts but shuts his mouth as he walks closer to Dean. Cas almost replies, I’d never let you disappear. But that’s too revealing, it shows too much of his heart. The feelings he’s trying to hide. The things Dean doesn’t want to confront. 

   He almost screams back at him, the repressed hurt and anger in him rising, you’re the one who said it was over, you’re the one who let me leave— if anything you made me disappear, but he bites his tongue.
