When the Doctor needs help to stop The Master, he calls on some of the greatest heroes ever known.

Notes:

I wanted to include some of my fav fandoms but decided that six was a lot of characters, so these are the ones I decided to keep, hope you guys like it.

Chapter 1: Merlin

Chapter Text

"I think we're going to need help" Groaned The Doctor.

"Can't you just teleport the tardis in there?" Asked donna.

"No, the master has all kinds of security in there, it'll block my tardis"

"It's just a rock, I don't understand what all the fuss is about"

"It's not just any rock, it's the Mentis Imperium rock. If he uses it he can control anyone" This came from Jack Harkness.

"I know some people who can help," Said the Doctor already starting the tardis up.

When the Tardis landed they walked out and saw that they were in a forest.

"Where are we?" Asked Donna.

"Camelot 5th century," Said The Doctor.

"CAMELOT! the Camelot? like king Arthur Camelot!?" Questioned Donna.

"Well, yes, who else would we be picking up?"

"NO WAY! I'm going to meet King Arthur!" At this, The Doctor and Jack chuckled.

Then they saw a few knights riding towards them on horses, accompanied by someone who appeared to be a servant. At the front was a man with blonde hair, bright blue eyes, and a pale complexion wearing a brown shirt, brown pants, and a leather vest.

"Can I help you?" Asked the man rather rudely, while staring at the tardis, clearly confused as to what it was, and why it was in the middle of a forest.

"Ah, yes, we are just looking for the king, where can we find him?" Asked The Doctor.

"Well, you're in luck your speaking to him" Came the blonde man.

"And is that your servant Merlin?" Asked The Doctor.

At this Donna got really confused, why would his servant matter, and how did he know his name, was he the Merlin, like the wizard? She'd seen weirder stuff. Apparently, the servant noticed it too, as he got a worried look, but the king (Donna assumed must have been Arthur) didn't seem to notice, but just followed by asking. "

Who are you, and what is your business with me?"

"I am afraid we have caught a sorcerer in this blue box. I was hoping you could help me?"

At this, the king, his servant, and a few knights got off their horses. The king and his servant were closest to the box, and then The Doctor pushed all four of them in the box and shut the door. The king pulled out his sword and pointed it at The Doctor

"I am King Arthur of Camelot and you'll let us out of this magic box" He and the servant were staring at every corner and hallway, clearly confused as to how it was so much bigger on the inside.

"Has that actually ever worked?" Asked Donna.

"No, I have no clue why he still tries it. It usually just makes things worse" Said the servant.

He had dark brown hair, bright blue eyes, and was very skinny, about around 6 foot tall had a faded blue shirt, a faded red bandana around his neck, and a brown jacket.

"Look, we need your help" This was Jack "This dude stole a stone, that has the power to control people's minds, and we need yall. Can y'all please help us"

Arthur seemed uncertain

"Why should we help you, you lied to us"

Noticing the servant seemed to be more likely to believe them, The Doctor turned his attention to him and said.

"I am a time traveler. We're actually friends in the future, you can believe me because I know you come from Ealdor, your mother's name is Hunith, I know who your father was I even know your secret"

At this Merlin seemed to start to believe him, he walked up closer to him. Arthur tried to hold him back, but he pushed past him, and whispered to the doctor questioningly

"What is it then?"

"Your father Balinor the dragonlord or that your a sorcerer" Smiled The Doctor as he whispered it.

Merlin stepped back and looked at Arthur and nodded.

"There's no way he could know that stuff unless I told him" Arthur looked a bit hurt.

"Or maybe he talked to your mother," Said Arthur still not believing.

"You're really trying to get me to believe that your a time traveler from the future" scoffed Arthur to The Doctor.

"Hey listen here swordy, you can believe us or not, doesn't change the fact that it's the truth," Exclaimed Donna.

"sWoRDy" gaped Arthur with disbelief, Merlin just snorted, Donna was liking him more and more.

"Ok, we'll help you. Where is this guy?" Asked Merlin changing the subject.

"Wait a second, I'm still not convinced, and how come I don't know anything about you having a secret, or who your father is?" Asked Arthur still hurt that he didn't know about either.

"Look, it doesn't really matter Arthur," Merlin said very frustratedly "And I think we can trust them"

"Alright fine, I'll go along with it, but as soon as any of you do anything suspicious, I'll cut you down where you stand," Arthur said to the amusement of Jack, who just laughed.

Arthur looked like he was about to fight, but The Doctor trying to change the subject before things went downhill, said.

"These are my friends Donna and Jack" Pointing to Donna and Jack. "You can call me The Doctor"

"Doctor who?" Asked Arthur, but The Doctor ignoring him, went over to the controls to take the tardis off to the next place.

"He never says, sometimes I wonder if that's it, just doctor" Donna explained to them sadly.

"Well, I'm Merlin, and this is Arthur, if you didn't already know that"

At this moment the tardis landed, and they all walked out.

Chapter Text

They came out to a large room with rock walls, a big fireplace, paintings, and tapestries all over the walls, and a couple of couches and chairs. Everything seemed to be red, black, and gold, but mostly red. It seemed to be night by looking through the windows. Sitting on the couch in front of the fireplace was three teens, about the age of 13. One was a tall skinny boy, with red hair, blue eyes, and freckles. The other boy had a thin face, green eyes, black messy hair, and a thin lightning bolt-shaped scar on his forehead, almost hidden by his hair. The girl had bushy brown hair, brown eyes, and buck teeth. They just sat there looking at them, until after about a minute the girl ask very rudely.

"Who are you and what are you doing in here?"

"Ah yes, I'm looking for a harry potter. I'm assuming that's you," The Doctor said pointing at the lightning scar on the kid's forehead.

"Uhhhh yeeaaaahhhh, I guess, what do you want?"

"Well, I need help saving the universe, and was hoping you could help me"

"Uhhh what?" Came all three of them.

"Fine, I'm a time traveler and a really bad guy stole a magic rock, that can control people's minds and intends to use it to control the whole universe. Will you help?" The Doctor said in a tone like they knew what he was talking about, they didn't.

"What?" the girl finally asked.

"Yeah! what is going on! how did we get here, are you a sorcerer!?" Arthur yelled at The Doctor accusingly.

The Doctor rolled his eyes.

"I should have gotten future you instead" The Doctor smarted off to him.

"What are you talking about!?"

Arthur had started to get into The Doctors face, and Jack and Merlin tried to pull him back.

"Can yall just shush for one moment before somebody hears us!?" Donna joined in trying to get Arthur to calm down.

"It's not magic it's science you nitwit," The Doctor said sarcastically.

"OK! who are yall and what are you doing here!?"

Donnas attention was brought back to the teens who had now picked up sticks and were holding them out in self-defense as if they could hurt somebody with them.

"What are you gonna do with that brake it over my head" Jack laughed.

One of the teens mumbled something in Latin and an odd-looking cloak that had been sitting in the corner appeared in his hand. The only person in that room that didn't look surprised was The Doctor.

"You guys don't have magic do yall?" Said the dark-haired kid surprised (Harry Potter Donna thought she had heard his name said)

"Everyone, meet Harry Potter one of the only wizards known to survive the killing curse," The Doctor said with a smirk.

"Is everyone here a wizard!?" Arthur exclaimed with his mouth agape.

Merlin looked at the ground uncomfortable. Donna wondered why, she had noticed it every time Arthur had said anything about magic.

"No, just 4 people here including them," The Doctor told him.

"So you are a sorcerer I knew it!" Arthur exclaimed proudly.

"No, I'm not I told you it's science!"

"So whos the other one?" Arthur asked counting again to make sure he hadn't done his math wrong.

Merlin's eyes went wide as if pleading for The Doctor not to tell. It didn't matter anyway as the Doctor had ignored Arthur. Donna wondered why Arthur didn't know about merlins magic, and why merlin didn't want him to know.

"Look, anyways, we need yall so please just help us," The Doctor asked them again.

"Maybe once you tell us the truth!" The girl spat back.

The Doctor groaned.

"I did!" He said trying not to yell but he still sounded flustered.

"Look I'm The Doctor, that's my friends Donna and Jack, this is King nitwit, and Merlin from Camelot"

"Wait What!? I knew you looked familiar!" The girl started screaming and jumping up and down.

The red-haired boy ran over and grabbed what looked like a school book, but it said something about magic on the front so Donna had no clue what it was. And started flipping through the pages till he stopped and looked up at Merlin.

"You really are Merlin!?" The red-haired boy exclaimed.

Harry lowered his stick but still gave them a wary eye.

"Like the greatest wizard to ever live Merlin!?" He asked amazed.

Arthur scoffed.

"What are you talking about. Merlin is no wizard and certainly isn't the greatest of anything besides being a total nincompoop" He laughed at them, but then noticed Merlin's completely serious look and stopped.

The room seemed to go quiet. The silence was too much for Donna, She couldn't take the awkwardness.

"So you guys will help us now that we have a historical figure in our group right?" She asked trying to change the subject and hopefully the mood.

"Merlin..." Arthur said so quietly it was almost a whispered. His tone was full of confusion. The smile fading from his face.

"Arthur I..."

"Are you ok, you look like a ghost?" Arthur asked obviously concerned but trying to play it off as if it was a joke.

"Arthur... remember the time you helped Ealdor and we were saved by Will's magic?"

"I wouldn't exactly say saved, but yes I do remember Will used magic"

"You never realized how many coincidences happen around me?"

"What are you talking about Merlin!?"

"It wasn't Will! I used magic! He just covered for me!" Merlin spat out at the speed of a bullet, and tears going down his cheeks. Donna ran over to comfort him.

"It's ok honey, there's nothing wrong with that. It's just a little bit of magic. it's not like magic has ever killed anyone" She told him as she rubbed his arm reassuringly.

The teens all exchanged an awkward look at her.

"Yes, Magic has killed people! What were you thinking Merlin! You don't still use it do you!?" Arthur yelled at them angrily.

"Lay off jerkface!" Donna yelled back at him.

"Arthur, I was born like this, and I have never hurt anyone unless it was absolutely necessary! your sword can kill people, but you seem completely ok with that!" Merlin spat at him.

"Some people just don't understand," The teenage girl told Merlin while glaring at Arthur.

"I'll be in the weird magic box if any of any of you need me!" Arthur told them angrily as he walked back to the Tardis.

"Ok we'll help as long as Merlin is involved," Harry told them.

"I'm Harry and that's Ron and Hermione"

"Great to meet yall sorry for that whole incident," Donna told them still comforting Merlin.

"Nah, I'm not that was kinda funny" Jack laughed.

Donna threw a nearby pillow at him.

"Well, we should probably go" The Doctor nodded towards the Tardis for the teens to follow.

"So your actually the Merlin?" Hermione asked Merlin as they walked back into the Tardis, Merlin stopped as he saw Arthur glaring at him from a corner, but tried to swallow and Ignore him.

"Yeah, I guess" He struggled out.

"Do you mind if I asked you some questions?" She asked super excited.

"When she says a few, she does not mean a few" Ron laughed as he went over to check out the controls, and The Doctor had to slap his hand away as he tried to press random buttons.

"Yeah, I guess that's fine," Merlin told her hoping it would help him take his mind off of Arthur.

They heard another loud swooshing sound.

"Welcome to 1832 France," The Doctor told them as he opened the doors.

Chapter Text

As Donna walked out of the Tardis still holding onto Merlin's shoulders, she noticed they were at the end of a street with the road being blocked by a 30-foot wide, 12-foot tall barricade of furniture. And there were about fifteen men pointing guns at them with more scattered across the clearing.

"Uhm where did you say we are again?" Donna asked nervously.

Merlin tensed nervously at her side. She knew he was ready to fight if needed, so she grabbed his arm and gave him a calming look as if to say Not yet.

"Are you for us or them!?" A tall blonde man with long curly hair called out from his spot at the top of the wall of furniture.

"I thought you said this was France, if this is France why are they speaking English?" Hermione asked.

"The Tardis translates" Donna explained quickly.

"Huh"

Donna was too preoccupied with the guns in their faces to explain further.

"In all fairness, I wish yall would win, but that's not what I'm here for. I need to talk to you, you, you, and you in private" The Doctor pointed at the blonde man and three others.

The man waved over to the other three to follow him as he walked over to The Doctor.

"Combeferre, you take my position while I deal with this," The blonde man told another who must have been Combeferre.

The blonde man led them into an empty cafe.

"So who are you and what is your business with us?" He asked.

"I'm The Doctor" He went on introducing everyone there. "And there's another in there but he's busy pouting" He pointed towards the Tardis where Arthur was keeping his distance from Merlin.

"Who are you?" Donna asked.

"I'm Enjolras, that's Marius, Courfreyrac... and Grantaire..." He took a sigh before introducing Grantaire.

"Nice to meet you," Grantaire told them holding up a wine bottle before taking a swig.

Enjolras Looked at Grantaire with one of the most disappointed looks Donna had ever seen.

"So what is that thing and how did it just appear?" Enjolras raised an eyebrow at the Tardis.

"Yeah, so about that, I was wondering if maybe you'd take a step inside? It'll make things a lot quicker and easier" The Doctor asked.

"Yeah, not quite yet. I have a revolution to run, and I don't trust you. Thank you very much" Said Enjolras sarcastically.

"Oh yeah... forgot about that yeah you definitely want to come with me"

The Doctor seemed like he was hiding a chuckle and Donna didn't understand, so she turned to Jack and whispered the question to him.

"Uh, yeah, they all die tomorrow" He whispered back.

Donna stared at him and The Doctor wide-eyed.

"You mean to tell me your just not gonna do anything about this Doctor!"

"What do you want me to do?"

"For starters maybe tell them what happens tomorrow!"

"We're very aware of our situation!" Enjolras snapped at her like a grumpy old man.

"What's going on?" Ron asked.

"Seems like they're not gonna make it out of this" Said Merlin with a sympathetic tone.

Grantaire took another swallow from his bottle, and Marius looked out through a window and looked like he was about to cry, Enjolras though tried to look confident, but was failing he was obviously tired and doubtful.

"We will make it out of this, and even if we don't we won't have died for nothing!" Said Enjolras grabbing Grantaires shoulder reassuringly.

"Your really willing to die for this?" Hermione asked.

"Of course I am. People are suffering, and if my death can bring about freedom for France then it's worth it!"

Grantaire and Marius exchanged doubtful looks.

"What exactly is it you fighting against?" Donna asked curiously.

"The tyranny of the monarchy" Enjolras explained excitedly.

"Ha! that's so cool!"

Ron and Harry both looked at him amazed.

"Don't get any ideas!" Hermione yelled at them.

"Well perfect! you see we are trying to fight for the freedom of the whole universe!" Donna explained to Enjolras

Enjolras thought for a moment.

"Look we're kinda busy, maybe after this is all over we can talk some more ok?" Enjolras told them trying to sound polite.

As they walked back out The Doctor asked them to look at something real quick and took them to the Tardis and pushed them in like he had with Merlin and Arthur.

"What are you doing!?" Enjolras yelled at them, and all four boys drew out their guns.

"Oh put those away" The Doctor rolled his eyes.

"Wha... How much did I drink?" Grantaire said looking around in amazement.

The other three boys followed Grantaires gaze. Courfreyac ran to the other side of the room to make sure he wasn't just seeing things.

"It's bigger on the inside!?" Marius yelled out.

"Your not sorcerers too are you?" Arthur scoffed at them.

All four boys exchanged confused looks.

"Oh shut up Arthur your nothing but a privileged brat who knows nothing of the world!" Donna yelled at him.

Arthur sat back down to sulk.

"Look we need your help. Your gonna lose anyways, if you want after we're done I can bring you back not a minute after we left, this is a time machine you won't lose any time and you can die with your friends, or I can drop you off somewhere else and let everyone believe you died?"

"This is kidnapping!" Enjolras yelled at him.

"Look whatever let's just go pick up the next ones and Jack can stay in here to explain everything to you," The Doctor told them.

He went over to the controls so they could leave.

"Don't worry, he means well" Donna told them.

The four men all turned to her suspiciously, obviously biting their teeth.

"Could he take us to England?" Marius asked as his face softened to being more hopeful than angry.

"O great here we go again" Enjolras rolled his eyes.

Grantaire and Courfreyac laughed.

"Why do you want to go to England sweetheart?" Donna asked curious as to why the other boys were laughing.

"Because it's true love!" Grantaire mocked.

"Because his girlfriend moved and that's all he can think about" Enjolras said through gritted teeth.

"Aw that's so sweet! of course he can, is that where you would like to be dropped off?" She asked Marius.

They heard the swooshing sound of the Tardis before Marius could reply.

"We'll talk more about this later" She promised.

Chapter Text

The Doctor knew they had too many people for everyone to get out every time so he let Donna, the kids, and the angry revolutionaries come out this time, while Jack watched over Arthur and Merlin who were still staring daggers at each other.

"Please try and fix this?" Donna whispered to Jack.

"Don't worry I got some ideas" Jack promised her with a laugh.

"You coming or not?" The Doctor asked from his place at the door.

"Your in a grumpy mood arent you?" Donna said sarcastically as she walked over.

The Doctor sighed.

"I'm sorry" He apologized in a lot gentler voice "I just want to hurry up and get this all done with"

Donna gave him an encouraging smile and placed her hand on his shoulder.

"So what are we supposed to see when you open this door?" Enjolras rolled his eyes ready to go back to his revolution.

"Don't worry I don't think anyone cares enough to touch your precious barricade" Grantaire laughed.

Courfreyac and Marius tried to hide their laughs in their hands but it didn't work.

"This is serious Grantaire!" Enjolras scolded the man.

Donna thought it was kinda harsh, but none of the other boys batted an eye so she figured it must have just been how the boy always was.

"Well we should be appearing in the middle of a summer camp," The Doctor said as he opened the doors.

As the door opened Donna saw that The Doctor was indeed right they appeared to be in a summer camp there was about twelve cabins standing in a U shape and some of the greenest grass she had ever seen. It was nighttime to Donna's surprise.

"Why so late?" Donna asked.

"Didn't want to attract too much attention" The Doctor sniffed.

"You didn't seem to mind that when you kidnapped us" Courfreyrac joked.

"How... wha...?" Enjolras tried to get out.

Grantaire spat out a bunch of scientific facts of how it could be possible, Donna didn't understand much of it though.

"Well, a little bit of that's true" The Doctor shrugged as he walked over to a 'beach themed?' cabin.

"How do you know all that?" Marius asked Grantaire shocked.

"Read a few books" Grantaire shrugged.

All three revolutionaries looked at Grantaire in shock but then shook it off and followed The Doctor.

"So what is this place and why are we here?" Hermione caught up to the Doctor when they reached the cabin.

"It's a summer camp for... gifted teens" The Doctor explained. "Let me and Donna go in first while you guys wait out here"

The Doctor led Donna into the cabin. It was empty except for one boy who was sleeping, he looked about thirteen with dark hair and sea-green eyes, all of his features seemed perfect, he reminded her of the Greek statues she used to see in museums. The Doctor walked up to the boy and gently nudged him. The boy didn't move it was almost as if he was dead, so The Doctor nudged a little bit harder, and by that I mean almost knocking him to the floor. The boy jumped up and pulled a pen out and pointed it at The Doctor.

"I'll use this!" The kid threatened.

Donna couldn't help but laugh at the kid.

"What are you gonna do with a pen?" She asked still laughing.

The Doctor didn't seem to think it was as funny as Donna did.

"It's a sword Donna" He explained.

The kid looked down at the pen in embarrassment and took the cap off, and to Donna's surprise, it grew into a long sword.

"Who are you and what are you doing in my cabin!?" He asked.

"It's ok we just want to talk, your Percy right?" The Doctor asked.

The kid lowered his weapon and put the cap on the tip and the sword shrunk back into a pen.

"Yeah who are yall?" Percy asked a lot less threateningly.

"I'm Donna and this is The Doctor" Donna introduced them. "That's a pretty cool pen you got there"

"Thanks, gift from my dad"

The Doctor explained to Percy what they needed him for, he didn't look surprised or confused.

"Do I have to, I just got back from my millionth life or death situation?" Percy said with a groan.

Donna was starting to worry about the boy, what did he mean just got back!?.

"I get that Percy but we need you," The Doctor said way too calmly brushing over the second part of what the boy said.

"Whoa whoa hold on!? Have you been in a life or death situation a lot!?" Donna asked worried for the kid's safety.

Percy shrugged like it was no big deal.

"Do your parents know about it!?" Donna couldn't believe what she was hearing, this poor boy couldn't be over 13 years old!?.

"My Dad is the one who usually sends me into them and my mom I think is just glad I'm alive" Percy shrugged.

Donna lost it, she couldn't believe it. Donna made Percy tell her every dangerous situation he had been in, he was most definitely downplaying most of them. The Doctor was growing more and more impatient with every story.

"You poor little dear you come with me, and I'll just take care of both you and Merlin. I think you would like Merlin, maybe yall can just stay with us!" Donna exclaimed wrapping Percy in a hug.

"I think him and Merlin will be fine Donna!" The Doctor snapped.

"O stop rushing we have a time machine we'll get there when we get there!" Donna waved him off and started to lead Percy outside.

"Where are your friends staying?" Donna asked as they reached the clearing.

"I'll go get them, I'll be right back" Percy gave her a smile

"So What is this place Doctor? I've never seen anything like it?" Enjolras asked as they walked back over to them, it looked like the seven of them had been discussing it while they were gone.

"long story short greek mythology is real and these kids are the children of Poseidon, Athena, and Pan" The Doctor explained to them.

They all gave him confused looks.

"Oh come on, you can summon things from across the room but you cant believe greek mythology is real?" Donna questioned raising an eyebrow at the three youngest.

The three youngest all exchanged glances and shrugged.

"I have so many questions..." Grantaire said trying to grasp everything he was learning.

"Didn't know you had the brainpower for questions R" Enjolras snapped without missing a beat.

Gantaire elbowed him playfully.

After this Percy came back with a half goat man, and a blonde girl with stormy gray eyes.

"This is Annabeth and Grover they're on board" Percy introduced them.

"He's got hooves...?" Ron said with a confused look.

"Yeah, what's wrong with that, you look like a carrot but I'm not saying anything," said Grantaire.

Enjolras and Courfreyrac both elbowed him.

They all went into the Tardis to see Merlin and Arthur finally talking with Jack mediating.

"Aww, Jack you did it!" Donna exclaimed in delight.

"Don't get too excited they still have a long ways to go!" Jack warned.

"Well, at least they're talking!" Donna smiled.

"Thanks" Merlin Whispered to her.

"No problem I'll always be here if you need someone to talk to" Donna promised him.

"All right, here we are. Welcome to baker street!" The Doctor said as the Tardis Whooshed.
