Work Header

Alderaan vacation

Summary:

Alex and Cody finally get to enjoy life, albeit with a little work involved.

And maybe some hiding from the government too.

Notes:

I had writers block when I started this, but now I’m in love.

This takes place in a universe where Alex is framed for the temple bombing instead of has because she was poking her nose in things Palpatine didn’t want to see the light of day.

This story is not apart of my canon universe, just a fun side story to help my writers block, so I can’t guarantee how often it’ll be updated.

Chapter 1: Early mornings

Chapter Text

Alex sat up with a sigh, hanging her legs off the side of the bed. Cody's arm curled around her waist, following her as she went. She moved her hair back out of her face and called a datapad to her hand to check the news on the war.

She didn’t see anything new, other than something about a campaign Anakin had recently.

"Anything new?" He mumbled as he snuggled his face against her thigh.

She scrolled a moment more before opening the file she’d been working on the night before.

"Not really. Anakin and Ahsoka saved a village from a landslide, but other than that, nothing."

"Then you can lay back down."

Alex turned off the datapad and turned to him, reaching out to comb her fingers through his hair, "I could, but you are laying in my spot."

Cody rolled his eyes and tighten his grip around her, "you're small. You'll fit."

She laughed and slid back down to kiss him, "it is only 4 am, I guess I could sleep longer."

He snorted and buried his face in her hair, "you're worse than some of my brothers."

Alex buried her face against his neck and grazed her fangs lightly against his skin just to feel him shiver at the sensation. "shut up so I can sleep."

"Yes, General."

Alex pinched his side, "shutting up means no smartass comments either."

Cody pulled her closer to his chest, his fingertips drawing lazy patterns across her back.

She raised an eyebrow, “I thought you wanted to sleep.”

He chuckled, “oh you did?”

She rolled her eyes and tilted her head to look at him. “yes, that seemed to be what you wanted.”

He raised an eyebrow, “oh?” He flipped them over so he was hovering above her on his forearms, “if that was what you wanted you wouldn’t have grazed your fangs over my skin.”

She bit her lip, not really making any effort to hide her smile, “maybe I just enjoy having you to myself without any responsibilities.”

He didn’t look the least bit impressed with her, “we are married mesh’la. I don’t think you need an excuse to have sex with me.”

She knew she blushed, making him laugh. He leaned down and kissed her, easily distracting her.

The neighbors probably hated them.
