Summary
Tommy always expected the day his mother would finally give him away or kick him out. He hoped that maybe he’d die before then or that he’d end up somewhere better. As he stands anxiously on the door step of a near stranger, half away across the country from what he’s always known, he isn’t sure which direction his life went.
