Summary
Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are in the rabbits' field when they hear a few cries. They don't know what to expect when they start investigating. They certainly didn't expect to find a baby Lan crying under a tree. Wei Wuxian's heart squeezes at the sight and immediately comforts the little boy. What happened to him? Why is a toddler alone and crying? Wei Wuxian is almost apprehensive to ask since he's pretty sure he won't like the answer. But with Lan Wangji's steady presence he braces himself.
