tears stream down my face as i gaze into your panicked eyes.
are these the last moments we will spend together?
i don’t think i could bear it if i never got to tell you how i feel;
how the butterflies swarm my stomach every time you pull me into your warm embrace,
and how my cheeks burn up when you hold my hand.
the world around us blurs as we make eye contact, and my desperate attempt at confessing my feelings gets stuck in my throat.
more tears,
until you finally whisper, “jin, this is late, but i love you.”
i open my mouth to respond, and yet, no sound comes out.
instead, i press my lips to yours, hoping you understand that i love you too, namjoon.
