Summary
When Francis Dolarhyde assists in the escape of Hannibal Lecter, Hannibal knows that it will only end one way.
After he kills Francis, Hannibal will have to flee. This time, he cannot leave clues for Will to follow.
The knowledge that this will be the last time Hannibal gets to see Will causes him to have a bit of a breakdown.
Will does what he thinks is best and admissions are made, apologies are said. The only thing that they can’t say are the three words that both of them really need to hear. Fortunately, they find a compromise in the meantime.
