Summary
Hermione is in the middle of an accidentally successful campaign for New York City mayor when she finds herself in need of money to keep up the momentum of competing with five-time incumbent, Mayor Shacklebolt. Harry, her friend and campaign manager, suggests they seek donations from some of the riches people in the city at BlackOut's annual gala, New York's most exclusive club to which they are members. It sounds like the perfect plan until she remembers who owns BlackOut and the fact that running into that person is bound to bring up unresolved feelings from years ago that she for sure thought she buried.
