Summary
Every year, one fallen hero from Liyue's history is selected as the subject of the Lantern Rite's Mingxiao Lantern — a massive lantern constructed from materials donated by citizens and visitors alike. Lasting over the course of five days, Kazuha finds himself enamored by the festivities taking place all over Liyue Harbor.
The origins of Latern Rite were interesting to Kaedehara Kazuha, a vagrant and wanderer from the harsh lands of Inazuma. Despite the ending of the Vision Hunt Decree and his freedom being restored to him, he found no reason to dwell in Inazuma any longer. While he found solace in meeting old companions and feeling the Inazuma ground beneath his feet, he had the urge to find something he couldn’t seek in Inazuma—adventure.
“Don’t give me that dumb look,” Beidou says, standing up straighter before waving her hand dismissively. “If you want to spend Lantern Rite with your new boyfriend, who am I to stop you? Just make sure you’re back at The Crux in three days, we have a lot of work to do after the festival.”
